most of them are pretty much censored compared to the dvd versions. you guys and parents must've been watching the wrong versions, because must of the sex scenes and references are pretty much cut out. sure the original movies were r rated. that's why there's a clean version to air on cable for everyone to watch without seeing the most graphic content if people are underaged to see the originals, and both versions really does make a huge difference.

Basically: If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you think it's innapropriate for young people, don't let your kids watch it.

Simple as that.

Usually the movies/TV shows have a rating system to help parents decide what's appropriate for their children to see. It's not USA's fault if you saw rating and it was rated as too mature for your children. If you're ever concerned about what movies/TV shows are really appropriate for children to see, Common Sense Media has age-appropriate ratings and tips for parents on different kinds of movies. Look the movie up on their website to see what they have to say, then I would have a talk with my kids about some of the content in the movie that might be inappropriate for them. Finally, I would watch the movie with them to make sure that it is appropriate for them. If not, then I would watch something else.
