Hard to choose a top 5, so I picked a top 10. These episodes are ones I watch again and again, episodes which I consider to be "classics."

  • From the Earth to the Starbucks (S1)
  • American Duos (S2)
  • Lights, Camera...Homicidio! (S2)
  • Gus Walks Into a Bank (S3)
  • Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing (S3)

Honorable Mentions (a.k.a. the rest of my top 10)
  • Spellingg Bee (S1)
  • 65 Million Years Off (S2)
  • Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead (S2)
  • The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable (S3)
  • Romeo and Juliet and Juliet (S5)

Most represented writer: Steve Franks

Most represented season: Season 2

A greatly underappreciated episode: Meat Is Murder, but Murder Is Also Murder (S2)

This is an almost impossible task because i have WAY more than just 5, but here goes…

1. Dead Bear Walking tied with Last Night Gus' (Berman MAGIC!)
2. In plain Fright (Shawn and Juliet's first episode as a couple will always be special 'cause we waited so long, plus i just love the episode in general, Tim Meltreger is one of my favorite writers on the show, after Berman and Franks)
3. Talk Derby To Me (Maggie Lawson in a sexy roller girl outfit, kicking ass plus some AWESOME Shules, EPIC WIN!!!)
4. Scary Sherry Bianca's Toast (Maggie Lawson's Funniest and most awesome kick ass episode, some of her best work ever IMO)
5. Any Given Friday Night… (best flirtatious Shules episode ever!)

This isn't fair, because there are like 20 more episodes that i love just as much as these ones!!, such as Death Is In The Air, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead, Boutny Hunter's, American Duo's, Gus Walks In To A Bank, A Very Juliet Episode, Spelling Bee, From Earth To Starbucks, If You're So Smart, Rob-A-Bye-Baby, Dual Spires… I could go on, and on, AND ON……… You catch my drift right?Posted ImagePosted Image As probably the biggest Shules fan on the board i feel bad for leaving out the episode with the most epic Shules moment of all time which of course was Extradition II, but the fact of the matter is that aside from the epic Shules moment i actually wasn't a fan of that episode, but i do watch that make out scene over and over againPosted Image

3. Yin/Yang trilogy (love the plot/storyline and the fact that someone was targeting shawn and that it went all the way back to his childhood)
4. Extradition ll: The Actual Extradition Part (well thats easy the beginning of Shules (the couple) )
5. Shawn Rescues Darth Vader (i loved it, i couldnt stop smiling. the fact that Shawns secret almost comes out and of course james in a suit)

and every other episode is #6

I know how you feel about dead things.
Gus: What do you mean? I've seen it all.
Shawn: You've seen it all through the cracks in your fingers while your hiding your eyes.
Shawn: Yeah, Gus, it was right at the top of my ''to don't'' list.
Shawn: Gus, I kicked a board in half.
Gus: No you didn't.
Shawn: You're right. I didn't. But it splintered. Do you have any idea what this means?
Shawn: That dog is kind of an "A" hole.
It sees something.
Yeah, urine stains on my pants.
Shawn: Boom. Boom. Boom. Muffins.
I need to potty, okay? I know my body, and I know my stomach, and this could get really ugly.
Shawn: I'm on a banana sled jack. Come aboooooard.

1.) Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast- This was the first Psych episode I ever saw and I think I peed a little through sheer laughter when Shawn and Gus were running out of the house. I was hooked ever since on both Psych and Shules.

2.) Talk Derby To Me- For obvious reasons this one stays in my number two spot. However, the more obscure reason is the fact that it has one of my favourite lines from season three that isn't a Shules line. "It's cozy, but I'll need everyones hands where I can see them... That means yours too Chief." It was the look on Chief Vick's face when he said it that floored me.

3.) Disco Didn't Die; It Was Murdered- I loved the Shawn/Gus/Henry adventure in this one. Yes, I do enjoy the occasional episode not focused on our favourite couple :P I loved them all going into the club together and Gus' dead leg, which made him walk like he was in a 70's Movie.

4.) Last Night Gus Got Game- Yes, I know it just aired, but in all honesty I haven't almost cried with laughter all year, and when Chief Vick asked Henry where his pants were, I pretty much lost what little dignity I had retained from the rest of the episode. Plus, The Hangover was one of my favourite movies and Lassie shooting BoBo the Giant doughnut was just the highlight of my day.

5.) Yang 3 in 2D- I simply ADORE Ally Sheedy for her unique brand of insanity  The look on Lassie's face at the end of the episode also helped to cement it in my top five. I mean come on, he scratched the back of his head with a coffee mug!

Behold! The sexiest men in the Universe!

The Time Lord- The Doctor

Let's see  ...

Shawn Takes A Shot In The Dark - I think it will always be my number one :D
Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing
High Top Fade Out
We'd Like to Thank the Academy
Yang 3 in 2D

I have to admit - the first two were really easy because I think they will never change, but the rest - I had to think about ;)

On the eighth day God created James Roday. He then said: "Top That!"

Okay, random newbie here. Long time psych fan (since Spellingg Bee first aired), but new to the boards. My faves:

1. "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark" - Oh the drama! I just wanted to step into the TV and hug him. It was serious and dramatic but it still made me laugh. I cracked up so hard at "You're the same person!"

2. "Talk Derby to Me" - for the same reasons Shulesrockz said.

3. "From the Earth to the Starbucks" I love Gus in this episode. Seriously. Oh and how he waits to ask a girl out? That sort of strategy works much better on me than just asking me out when we meet, though a guy doesn't have to wait quite so long to win my favor.

4. "Lights, Camera... Homicidio" When I was learning Spanish in School I used to watch Telenovelas and I think they were portrayed rather accurately. I loved all the Spanish speaking and I cracked up so freakin' hard when Henry was angry at Shawn for stuff his character did. Brilliant.

5. "Weekend Warriors" - I don't really know why I love this one as much as I do. I think it's Lassie in his Civil War gettup.

Man, this was hard to narrow down to just five. So many good episodes.

This question is tough but my personal top 5 that I keep watching more than others are

  • "65 Million Years Off" - I'm not sure if it's the dinosaur or the fact that shawn and gus go through such a tough time beating out lassie while he's "literally on fire"(and eventually crushing him) but I feel that this episode has just the right amount of everything I love in the show
  • "Black and Tan: A Crime of Fashion" - Gus kills me in this episode. Reminds me of what I put my friends through on my birthday celebrations
  • "Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead" - Love the tie in to my #1 episode and Shawn's antics when he first examines the mummy room still make me crack up. "Have it, have it, want it, mine's bigger" is just classic. Plus I love the name of the episode being a "Shaun of the Dead" fan.
  • "High Noon-ish" - Debated putting this one higher, just for the pure joy I get from seeing Shawn and Gus "play cowboys" because "cowboys and indians is offensive". The poker game dialogue between the two of them and lassie is great.
  • "Dual Spires" - After this episode aired I immediately started watching "Twin Peaks" on netflix. Made the episode even better. The fact that we finally get to see Shawn and Gus actually at a cinnamon festival is just icing on the cake.
I'm a looongtime fan but never really thought of coming to the forums here for some reason
