I'm sure I'm not the only one who's deeply upset over the utter lack of Chief Vick in many of the episodes from seasons four and five. Here is the place to voice your dismay.

i COMPLETELY agree with you. i mean, she wasn't even IN this episode. not ONCE! it made me very very very sad...I always loved her and the episode where she was going to get fired/replaced almost brought me to tears. i was like, NO you can't have psych without the chief. and so now i'm sad.

Not that I don't love Henry being at the station - it's hilarious - but I'm all for sending him home if Vick doesn't get her required screen time.

agreed! she usually is the one to hire them, so with henry hiring them, we never ever get to see her? i really really don't like that idea. at all.

Amen sister friend! I want Chief Vick and Shawn banter! I want Vick! I love Henry, but I'd love him more in his crazy shirts, in that sweet sweet house of his.

Well maybe not less for Henry...just him back in his shorts and flip-flops at his ocean-side home, and more Chief Vick at the office. She's great. (Let's take a moment...and acknowledge the chief is wearing leopard print).

Remember last season she was only in 8 out 16 episodes most likely Kirsten Nelson has requested this to spend more time with her family

I totally agree! I'm a big fan of Chief Vick and really would love to see her more often! I mean, I'm pretty sure Buzz has had more screen time than her, and he's not even in the opening credits...(Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Buzz fan too)

I like her, but if she is trying to spend more time with her family then that is a good thing, family should always come first before fame and fortune, look at all the family breakups and family problems among the well to do. they get caught up in their lifestyle in hollywood or some other highly lucrative endeavor and pretty soon they end up divorced or some other bad family problem. of course this happens among the poorer too.

relationships that last take time love and compassion among the members. it has to be nurtured, it can't be neglected (kind of like a garden) and then expected it will go well. but it would be nice to see more of her again however.

FYI...both my sisters, who watch the show religiously, but don't have time to come to the boards called me today and BOTH of them agreed that they miss the Chief. I hope the next episode has more Chief Vick involved. I miss the days like Rob-a-Bye-Baby when she was SO involved. Part of why I like her so much is she (albeit sometimes quietly and/or secretly) seems to almost ALWAYS support Shawn. Without her, this season we've had no support for him from Lassiter or Juliet, and not a whole lot from Henry. Even Gus made that "ehh" comment last night about whether or not he'd do anything to save Shawn. (I mean, we know he would...) I just feel like if the Chief were around more, Shawn would start to feel better about himself and we'd get that Season 2-3 vibe we've been wanting. Poor Chief.
Though, if it is because she wants more time with her family, then good for her. I would never begrudge someone family time!

I AGREE!!! I like Henry at the station, but he's taking away Chief's role. Honestly, I wish things were back to the way they were.

But I agree, I want to see Cheif Vicks again. She was assertive when she needed to be, but you could tell she was a really nice person. I like her character, even though she isn't honestly my favorite.

It would be interesting to find out if Kirsten Nelson maybe hasn't got the time to do as many episodes this year... Maybe they can make up for it with an episode that centres around her a bit? I loved Rob-a-bye-baby.

And I agree, not less screen time for Henry overall! I just wish what we did see was a bit more interesting. Henry in a professional environment is kind of one-note. Or they haven't quite made use of the full potential of the situation yet. It would be great to see more Shawn plots to get him fired, for example

Didn't Shawn clearly state to Gus : " We're getting him fired? " I agree it would be hillarious to watchShawn try to actually pull off something like that.

But to the topic: Yes I would like to see more of Karen, and maybe cut down Henry just a little bit so that there would be time for her. Perhaps Shawn and Gus would get involved in a personal case surrounding her? There was Lassiter himself, Juliet's brother, and Henry's old friends, so why not a case around Chief Vic's personal family, friends? Maybe her husband?
