OK, taking the new press thread for a test drive. Let's see how this baby handles.

Jeffrey and Gabrielle did a conference call today, so we will start seeing transcripts and articles. For now, I will put in main press because it involves both of them. First one is from Poptimal, and as I recall from the Nix call, it was mostly about the reporter, not the show.

That was fabulous, Karen - Thanks! I do wish Gabrielle had answered the question about a memorable scene for her btw. Fi and Michael.
Good questions and answers. Jeffrey's much more analytical than Gabrielle, it seems. She doesn't seem to enjoy thinking about the process or characters quite as much. I did read Matt Nix describing her as approaching from the heart and Jeffrey from the head, so that may explain it. She comes off as a bit flighty in interviews - not dumb or airheaded, though. She enjoys herself, too, it's clear - They both do. Interesting that she said she'd have reached her limit with Michael by the end of Season 1! (Jeffrey sounded surprised.) Very interesting, and they are both charming in their own way.

Yes, I remember the first few TV or audio interviews I heard with Gabrielle and I just wondered about her. But now I realize it's just more about her approach to the character and realizing that it is the writers' hands more than hers. Plus, she is trying to consider the actual questions asked rather than giving a stock answer like people do sometimes. But she is clearly having fun and enjoys having good material to work with.

The vids it shows are not new (JD on R&K, GA on CW morning show, etc) but I think it's always nice to see BN get a mention, wherever that may be! This is from a recent interview Jeff Eastin (creator of White Collar) did and he mentioned BN:

I was part of the Burn Notice interview with Jeffrey Donovan and Gabrielle Anwar. And there was a question about would there be any kind of crossover that they wanted to do out of the USA Network shows. And they particularly mentioned specifically White Collar and talking about the potential of how the characters and the whole tone of the shows were so similar. And wondered what you thought about that.

Jeff Eastin: No, I completely agree. I mean, Matt Nix created Burn Notice, and I are pretty good friends. Yes, if we're going to do a crossover that seems like the one to do. It will be interesting to talk to USA about it. I know there's been some joking about it, but I think in terms of a crossover that would be by far the most logical and the most fun. I guess the interesting thing would be would we send Michael to New York or would we send Neal to Florida? So as they say stay tuned. But that would be something that would be, I think, pretty awesom

That was SO enjoyable, Karendipitee, thank you. I put my headphones on my laptop and the sound was fine! It IS really fun to listen to as you said. I laughed out loud several times! Even the questionst that people were a little clumsy in asking, both Jeffrey and Gabrielle handle it so well. I also love how JD referred to Gabrielle as "G" like you all have mentioned; so adorable. And both laughed a lot. I really got such great sense of their chemistry on and off the show, and also of their love and respect for the show and the entertainment it provides us.

Give it the 50 minutes...you will love every second!
