You're right! It was the same knife and definitely the facial expression of a madman. I hadn't put two and two together with those 2 episodes, thanks guys. JD's good at facial expressions!
And I like the idea of Sam taking out Larry. I think he would do it, too, even though he shares Michael's general aversion to killing.

Also, I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get a scene where Fi actually MEETS Ruth. There's only the one scene where Fi shows up for dinner, and much to Maddie's delight bringing an allergy-inducing for Ruth cucumber salad, and she says she can't stay and needs to talk to MW, does so and leaves. She never greets Nate, which I think would be sweet, embracing Michael's brother, and she is never formally introduced to Ruth. I think that would make for an interesting scene. FanFic people out there?? Go for it, please!!

Hey
The Cartel doesn't know Michael by our Michael's looks but does know his name. so if that slips out that would put him in danger. I am guessing.
Fiona was upset with Larry and Michael and probably wasn't in a social mood. She had her brain on Michael working for/with Larry and whatever Larry had fed her. Best to get it out and leave.

The top part is funny, the bottom just weird, but overall an interesting goof.

You should send that link to Matt and Tim on Twitter.

I think the bottom is so weird because it actually is a code. I just haven't figured it out yet.

I think it's pretty unlikely he wouldn't have even high school Spanish growing up in Miami, and vaguely recall one scene that had Spanish in the Australian version of the pilot we don't have here. But if they're going to run with "Michael doesn't speak Spanish" as a joke, I think they did a good job.
Can you tell me when we have heard MW speak Urdu, and Czech? In Enemies Closer he says he speaks Farsi. And I must say, the Russian language coach does a great job, or does JD actually speak Russian? He sounds authentic, and his Russian-accented English is great!
I agree, it's pretty unlikely he wouldn't have had high school Spanish in Miami. Even without it in schools, I'd think just growing up in Miami you'd pick up a lot. I think the writers ARE just having fun, giving MW an unexpected shortcoming.

He wrote in Urdu when he stole the file from Waseem at the beginning of Trust Me, and said "my Urdu's a little rusty." Czech, well, he said welcome to Miami and swore at Jan the Czech assassin in the beginning of Old Friends.
I believe Jeffrey does speak some Russian or at least took classes in it. I remember evelina mentioning that at some point and saying his accent sounded good.

*slaps forehead* Of course!!! Thanks! So, I'm counting languages of record: Russian, Czech, Farsi, Urdu, and Arabic. In one of the Burn Notice books, Tod Goldberg writes that MW speaks Italian. Do you think the books count? I guess they have Mat Nix's seal of approval?
