First off, I want to apologize in advance. This is a nice bit of publicity, but it's a from a year or two ago. I don't remember seeing it before, and suspecting that I might not be the only one, I thought I'd go ahead and post a link.
This is a rather nice behind the scenes visit to Psych by TV Guide. This five minute long segment has bits from James and Dulé and Tim and Steve Franks, among others. If you're wondering if you've seen this video before, Mel Damski compares Shawn and Gus to Lucy and Ethel of the old 'I Love Lucy' show, and James refers to the fans as 'Psychies' after the interviewer mentions Trekkies.
Thank you bethgreen. We get to see Kirsten (I love when she gets interviewed, because it's so rare). And did I spy a couple of psychwrites guys? Fantastic stuff!

I love the a.m. radio interviews where James has got the low, rough, sexy, early morning voice going on and I should probably stop right now because my brain is thinking of an altogether different thread on this forum ...

Great thread...thank you MarthanotGeorge!
And great job, Psych-Os or Psychies or you get the drift!
Diggin' the interviews.
Now, wouldn't it be funny if The Mentalist added a black dude! I wouldn't put it past them. They already tried adding more jokes.

Thank you for this!! This was so sweet!!! LOL @ the Mentalist reference.

Lassiter: You don't remember where you were this afternoon? Hassenfeffer: It was yellow... and boring. Juliet: Are we talking about a restaurant? Hassenfeffer: I don't know. Maybe. Just write down that it was lame.
Juliet: Guys, we don't have time for this. Shawn: I know, and that's why I'm here to offer our services. Lassiter: I'd rather shower with a bear.
Lassiter: And don't think I didn't see you trying to throw M&M's into the injured soldiers' mouths. Shawn: First off, those were Skittles and they have a rainbow of flavors.
Shawn: Grody to the max. Grody with a spoon. Come on, work with me, I don't know what the kids are saying these days.
Lassiter: What, no witty retort? No reference to some obscure 80s film? Wow! O'Hara write this down. Juliet: I don't have a pen. Lassiter: Make note of the date and time that I, Carlton Lassiter, actually shut Shawn Spencer's cavernous pie hole.
Gus: I don't need to see him, Shawn! Some people are just born evil: the kid from "The Omen", the Children of the Corn, Chad Michael Murray.

But they'd have to go all the way to Richard Roundtree to be cooler than Dulé.
True that. And he's cool...met Mr. Roundtree. It's all that and a bag of chips.

You are one lucky chica!
Yeah, it's trippy. My mom was luckier, she met Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman. I would have too but I was "too young" to be at the place where she was at the time.
Is that cryptic enough. Let's just say I have family members that are ah "easy to find on google". LOL!

you are so great! thank you for posting all of these!
You are welcome, but the thanks goes to those savvy and patient enough to troll the internet for them. I'm just lazy and wanted them in one place so I could access them. It's easy to post them at the top of a thread. The difficulty is finding them in the first place! So thanks goes to Blacktschica, sarcasmlove, bethgreen and elyseCitrus. Keep them coming everyone. As was pointed out in one of James' interviews, August 7th is still a long way off!

Now you know that you are going to get all the Psych-Os riled up! They will be googling right and left. Something to keep folks occupied until Psych premieres maybe? ha, ha

LOL! Hehehee..yeah..I wonder if folks will figure it out. Only two Psych-Os know half the story.
That interview was cute and they both were great sports. Being on that side of the "interview experience" before, it can be quite uncomfortable. They did a great job. I was hoping the interviewer would have asked more questions though about Psych.
And where the heck is Dulé. And hopefully they will talk to Tim and Corbin too!
And I agree, great job EVERYONE and keep sleuthing!!!

I couldn't find a current Dulé interview, but he was mentioned in an In Plain Site interview with Josh Molina.
Here's the "Dulé Snippet":
Josh, like you mentioned you know Mary from The West Wing and I was seeing that Richard Schiff is going to be on the show as well. Any other former The West Wing people going to be on the show that you've heard about?
Joshua Malina: That's a very good question. I think slowly one-by-one I guess everyone. We should be able to get a Dulé Hill guest star. He's already working for USA. I think it's all a very nice reflection on Mary, who likes to bring us in and play with her old friends. But I did see Richard, I don't really get to interact with him on camera, but I did see him. We are in the same episode. It was really, really nice all to be together. It was fun for the three of us.
That would be quite interesting to see Dulé on In Plain Sight.

Actually, even though I've never watched "In Plain Sight" and as such not a fan of that show, I think it would be great to have Dulé' Hill guest star as Gus in a full cast crossover with "Psych". Bring in the whole cast! I like the idea of crossover episodes (as long as they're rare!), and as mentioned, they already work for USA Network. It's "do-able".
The show I would have LOVED to see them do a crossover with is "Monk", but that's out the door since they're wrapping it up. Too bad.
That one is on the list. I'm sorry about the confusion. I've put the date posted (in the case of the one found by bethgreen, I put 'past season') so that it will be easier to peruse the list and quickly link to new ones.

He does have a great "morning voice", doesn't he? Since we won't likely hear it in its true form on the show, it's nice that we get it in a few interviews.
