I'm just curious to find out who's everyone favorite character and why. Mine, hands down, is Shawn. Just some of the things he says are hilarious!!!!! I also like how laid back he is because he seems to be someone who just goes with flow and he also seems to be very fun loving. My next favorite character is Gus mainly because of how level headed he is. He also seems to be laid back and fun loving, but he also seems to know what's important to keep money coming into their business. He also seems to be the "fall" guy for Shawn, which shows that he's always there for Shawn. I love the relationship these two have. My third favorite character (and favorite one in terms of the girls) is Jules. She seems very sweet, kind, compassionate....just her personality in general is what I love about her. My fourth favorite character is Henry. Henry can be several different things, sometimes all in one episode. He can be a teacher, a mentor, a father, a friend...and sometimes that's exactly what Shawn needs. My fifth favorite character is the Cheif. She likes to get things done, no matter what, and although Shawn's methods may seem weird to other people, she knows that he can get the job done. My sixth favorite character is Buzz. Buzz seems like a good guy but we don't really know all that much about him. There's no doubt in my mind that I would like him better if we knew more about him. My least favorite character is Lassie. Don't get me wrong, I love Tim and I think he does an amazing job in this role...it's the character's personality I don't like. He seems to be very much by the books and sometimes jumps to conclusions. I think if Lassie just loosens up a little bit, I would like him more.

Oh yikes! I can't name just one! I love them all for different reasons:
Shawn - crazy, unpredictable fun Gus - down to earth, silly fun Henry - controlling/stern but caring dad Lassie - lean muscle, fun intensity Jules - heart of the detectives with great "take charge" (loved her best in Tuesday the 17th) Chief Vick - the rock that don't take no crap Buzz - loveable teddybear Winky Cutto - fun to see the toy froggie pop up!
Did I miss anyone...anyone...Berger?

hmm...if i HAD to pick, my top 3 would be:
1. Shawn. Do i really need to explain myself? 2. Gus. The way Gus and Shawn kinda of, shall we say, "complete" each other is so well done. (Ex: Shawn is WAY out there, Gus is more down-to-earth/Shawn is totally spontaneous and like a child, Gus is more practical and more adult-like--well, most of the time, anyway) Also, it's just hilarious watching them rip on each other 3. Lassiter. Seriously, the show would be funny, but not NEARLY as funny without carlton hanging around. His sarcasm and his get-out-of-my-face-i-hate-your-guts attitude towards Shawn is so hilarious. And i really like the glimpes of the troubled-just-separated-man-who-really-still-loves-his-ex that we see, because even though he can be a *insert profane noun here* you can see he's got his share of issues and ya gotta love him

Shawn: Oh, you mean my pilot's license? It's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked. Trouble at the Kazakhstan border. I could give you the details but then I'd have to kill you, which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoked.
Shawn: *pokes head in the door* A little girl started crying when she saw this shirt.

totally unfair question because we all know that everyone is loved equally
Well, I have to disagree with you there. I love them all for their own reasons (most of the time...Jules has a little work to do in season 4 before I can completely like her again ), but Lassie-face will always be my favorite! Watching him be the "marble-haunched" head detective never fails to make me smile, and no matter how awkward he is, anytime we see him come out of his shell I feel really proud of him. Ridiculous, I know!
Really, I just get him. I am much more like Lassiter than I am like any other character on Psych, possibly on TV at all right now. All that "Carlton" we were privileged to see in season 3.5 caught some people (certainly in my family) a little off-guard and made them re-think him a bit, but I knew it was there the whole time. I was so excited to be proven so right! (After I got done crying, of course. Seriously, Tim killed that divorce scene!)

"Spencer, you've got to find me a weapon of some kind. I don't care if it's a cane with a blow dart in it."
"I'm going to need some answers, and fast; otherwise you and I are gonna turn on the hot lights, do the Lindy Hop, and see who cracks first."
"Hola...me llamo Inspector Carlton Lassiter. Me gusta queso."
"'To Lassy, On the alpine highway of life, you are my all-weather tires. H&K's, Shawn.'"
"Hey, Blowy! I know you're new, but next time if you wanna get your spit all over the evidence, why don't you just lick it?!"

My fave, hands down, is Jules. She's smart, sometimes a little wild, pretty, and just plain awesome! After that, it's Shawn b/c he's kinda crazy, pretty smart, really funny, and just plain awesome! Then Lassie follows close behind b/c he's funny at moments, an awesome cop, and just plain awesome! Following him, it's Gus b/c he's Shawn's fall guy, really smart, and just plain awesome! Then Buzz b/c he's misunderstood, and just plain awesome! Lastly, a tie between Chief Vick and Henry, b/c they're them, and just plain awesome!
