Ok, they MUST give Lassiter a handlebar moustache. I have a feeling there are some great Lassiter moments to be had in this one, given his penchant for Civil War reenactments.

Question: Got anything on Psych? --Sean Ausiello: I've got the first significant piece of guest casting for season 4! In an early eppy, Christine Baranski will play Alice Clayton, the well-maintained widow of a billionaire hedge fund manager who believes her husband's death in a plane crash was not accidental, but murder.
You can actually view some casting sides from the episode. So basically you're looking at script pages.
Edit: I just read through them, and I think it's awesome. I was cracking up at some parts.
Very happy about this one. Skimmed them more than read. Cause I'd like some surprise when I'm watching the ep, but loved the Mentalist reference and possible Shules moment.

From TV Guide:
I miss Psych. Got anything to tide me over until the new season? — Audrey
TIM: Hmm. Without getting too specific, we'll say that Gus and Shawn's next cases (in episodes premiering sometime this summer) will involve Bollywood, the Wild West, and an exorcism. They'll also have a skiing-centered episode set in British Columbia, where the show films. Oh, and there's an episode about a time-traveling clone. (Siiiiike! Did they say that at your elementary school?)
I'm really excited about the Wild West one. Who's with me?
Even though they do film in Bristish Columbia, I am glad one of the episode is taking place outside of Santa Barbara!!! That is awesome! And I can hear Gus now: "No Shawn. No exocisms." And probably both of them, screaming like little girls (which I always find funny).

Definitely excited about Wild West. Hopefully more of this...
Yeah, and James on a horse, again. I love this picture of him and Michael Weston. I sure hope Michael comes back on the show as Adam Hornstock or "H"stock as Shawn called him.

Christine Baranski!Yay! She is so great. I just watched Mama Mia this weekend!
Also, someone on another board I watch wondered if the Bollywood episode could possibly include Dulé dancing! That would be perfect.
Thanks sarcasmlove for the updates.
First, we had Cybill Shephard. Now Christine Baranski!

I just read through the casting sides and they were great! I could not stop laughing when I read the Mentalist reference!!
Again? It will the second time that they mention that show, but I laugh at the first Mentalist reference. Watch out Patrick Jane; Shawn Spencer is the orginial fake psychic on television!!

I had to laugh when I read this. In one of my random web searches, I came across a Bollywood website where someone said that James Roday had the nose to be a Bollywood actor.
For grins and giggles, here's a picture of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi and James

The psychwrites Twitter page said this afternoon that Extradition: British Columbia will be episode 4.01, not 4.02.
Cool! I wanted to see the Extradition: British Columbia first! I remember in Season Two that they shot Psy vs. Psy first but was aired third after American Duos and 65 Million Years Off!

Episode 4.02 spoiler!!! Posted today at Spoiler TV
TITLE: Extradition: British Columbia
STORY LINE Shawn and Gus are frustrated by their attempts to capture elusive art thief PIERRE DESPEREAUX while on vacation in Canada...
[PIERRE DESPEREAUX] Handsome, sophisticated, with a mischievous glint in his eye, Pierre Despereaux is a world-class art thief, who's been frustrating Lassiter's attempts to capture him for years. Elegant, confident, Despereaux is more amused than threatened by Shawn's efforts to bring him down, and is relaxed even when face to face with Shawn in a restaurant or hotel room. Eventually, Despereaux explains to Shawn exactly how he's managed to keep clear of the law for so long...GUEST STAR (5) LOOKING FOR RECOGNIZABLE NAMES
[STAFF SERGEANT HUGH MACKINTOSH] A boyish, fresh-faced, extremely polite Canadian police officer who still believes that great things happen to good people, MacKintosh takes down Shawn's information about sighting famed art thief Pierre Despereaux on the skiing slopes. MacKintosh is impressed with Shawn's apparent psychic abilities not just because he's somewhat naive and optimistic, but because he's open-minded to new techniques--in fact, he's got a lot of new ideas himself that are continually shot down by his superiors. MacKintosh goes out of his way to help Shawn and Gus get their man, but things go wrong, and he gets fired sptv050769...GUEST STAR (9)
[COMMISIONER ED DYKSTRA] In his early 60s, bullish but jolly, possibly not too competent, Dykstra is the RCMP commissioner who's instantly impressed with Shawn's psychic abilities when Shawn "guesses" that today's his birthday. Dykstra fully believes Shawn's inflated representation of his own rank, and infuriates Lassiter by referring to Shawn as his superior. Despite Dykstra's initial enthusiasm for Shawn, he gradually becomes skeptical of Shawn's ability, and eventually joins with Lassiter in what he thinks is a "good cop/bad cop" interrogation of Shawn...GUEST STAR (13)
Dykstra calling Shawn Lassiter's superior?! This is going to be good!
And what Shawn went through in An Evening with Mr. Yang, don't you think the man deserves a vacation? Even if it turns out it is a working vacation with a foe that is even more challenging than "Mr. Yang".

Agreed! I think it makes more sense that they would want a recognizable name as the bad guy to start the season with, and Shawn and Gus have definitely earned a vacation and want to take it ASAP. I wish poor Lassie-face would take one; he's more than earned it, too!

"I'm going to need some answers, and fast; otherwise you and I are gonna turn on the hot lights, do the Lindy Hop, and see who cracks first."
"Hola...me llamo Inspector Carlton Lassiter. Me gusta queso."
"'To Lassy, On the alpine highway of life, you are my all-weather tires. H&K's, Shawn.'"
"Hey, Blowy! I know you're new, but next time if you wanna get your spit all over the evidence, why don't you just lick it?!"
