Who wants to see Juliet and Shawn to get together? I personally think it is to suspenseful for them not to be together, they really should be together though with a twist.
Like they hide their relationship because they think that if everyone knew it, the entire team would think shawns and juliets judgement was impared by the relationship.Though there should be subtle clues like they talk to much to each other in private, they leave places together all the tame, they talk about meeting each other when they think no one is around, have inside jokes, and even when shawn makes a pass at jules she laughs and doesnt officially turn him down instead of shutting him down as in previous seasons.
They could get caught at like a basketball/ football on the jumbo-tron or kisscam or something else. I am so addicted to psych I even try to imagine the next season/episode (in case you havent already noticed) but some of these ideas may actually work.
Also James Roday and Maggie Lawson actually are or were dating (i am not sure on their current situation), they have been dating for a really long time. Though would that make it easier or harder for them to br together on Psych.
Everyone post your true comments on Shules or Juawn or any other mesh of the names?

I was thinking the exact same thing that they should hide their relationship from everybody.

Ehh...I don't think so. Shawn would obviously have to tell Gus, cause that is the nature of their relationship. And when that is the case, it's a part of the show. It would be way too hard to hide it.
I think that in the last season or last few seasons they should get together, and it should end with them together. It has become an aspect of the show that needs to be concluded by the end of Psych (please be many, many more season), alongside where all the characters end up. Trudy's murder solving is to Monk and Shules is to Psych. Needs Conclusion.

Henry: Yeah, well. Why do you always have to win, Shawn? Shawn: ‘Cause we’re winners.
Shawn: And Rutger Hauer calls "Shhtallingg" Thug: Why? Gus: Because he's Dutch.

I think they should get together over a course of time like a season or even two, start out dating and just keep moving forward. Although i dont think that should be the conclusion to psych, If and I hope they do get together it will be hard for shawn to hide his fake psychicness if they get together.

I think that at some point during their relationship he should tell her that he's not psychic. That would give us some interesting and dramatic stuff.

yeah i agree i just am not sure how jules would take it. She would either be furious because he had hidden his fake psychicness for however long, baffled and wondered how he had solved all the cases without being psychic, then there is her being in the police department and the whole he broke A LOT of laws by not being a licenensed detective (no idea how shed respond to that), also could he trust her to not tell if they like got in a big fight or she just let it slip. Would she try to convince him to be a real detective? Or she could not even care( even though that is unlikely) and completely support him. So I completely agree that he should tell her in intrest of all viewers, plot twist, and a new way for the actors to try something new and a way to add a bit ,ore drama to psych.
Though first they need to be a couple (asatw/va) as soon as the writers/viewers allow!

I have to say I adore how they've developed them thus far. James said himself that their relationship is just about the most traditional aspect of the show. The fact that they can take a relationship like that & present in a way that is not as ridiculously cliche as it could be is fantastic. It's Psych. Meaning in essence that this isn't a show where the main focus is romance. It is such a light and happy show that incorporating that " will-they-or-won't-they" couple isn't something that is easy to do & they manage it perfectly.
The finale scene.
Wow.
As much as I adored Juliet's character before I love her that much more after that scene. we've seen her come SO FAR as a detective from when she first pulled her gun in spelling bee --to that amazing shot in tuesday the 17th && now we're seeing how far she's grown in her personal life as well. the fact of the matter is that she's been playing it safe. She's had this mentality of the "perfect" guy ...one who is mature and a "manly- man" like cameron or the lassie- wannabe we saw in psy vs. psy. Yet it would never work out w/ sir saggy man boobs cam or anyone else for one reason. None of them are Shawn. I think that above everything else scares our favorite Junior Detective to pieces. After seeing him go through everything that day in the manor he did and finding herself instinctively taking a step forward in wanting to console him after he realized his mom was taken, her feelings were definitely put in perspective. Asking him out took SO much effort for her and I loved how well Maggie portrayed that. *sniffles* Our little Jules is growing up.=)
Speaking of which the way she handled the let down was done BEAUTIFULLY. During the pause before she kisses him on the cheek it's like we can almost see her flash back to Shawn telling her to go for it with Luntz if there is even the remote possibility he will make her happy. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, I expected nothing less of Juliet's character to want the same for him. They want each other to be happy, no matter what that means.<3
Now onto POOR SHAAAWN.
Seriously looking at his face when she kissed his cheek & how he reacted to her touching his face nearly broke my heart. Mostly because it was painfully obvious his was breaking too. MAJOR kudos to James for that amazing " I-just-got-punched-in-the-stomach-and-stopped-breathing-for-a-few-seconds" look he had on his face after having to watch the girl he's wanted to be with for about three years walk away. He showed us that Shawn is more than capable of doing the right, mature, altruistic thing. Gus made it perfectly clear that using Abigail to prove a point was not a good idea and Shawn stepped up to give her the respect she deserves. No doubt proving to be on of the hardest things he's had to do. The nail in the coffin of that horrible day.
Bottom line these two are nothing short of wonderful together, obviously just as much so off screen as on. I have faith that the writers will continue to develop them in the best possible light no matter what set backs they face along the way. I have NO doubt that the last season of the series or episode for that matter will deal with the whole " Dude, he's clearly NOT really psychic" revelation. That will most likely be the turning point in the Shawn & Juliet relationship, in whatever direction the writers choose to explore it. Obviously on some level, she knows. She's a detective, not to mention smart. Though actually hearing the confession from him will cause her to take her head out of the sane so to speak & actually deal with it. Her reaction to it & how the truth comes out will change everything.

I have to agree that the whole Julet&Shawn relathionship is the most conventional part of the show. The thing is I never want it to overtake the show and make it some soap opera [like lights, camera,......homicido] the whole reason i watch psych and got hooked on it was the humor, sarcasm, fake psychicness, and the lightness of the show.
I also thought the last scene of the season finale was the pivatol moment, like you said right when juliet kissed shawns cheek he knew all he wanted was to go and be with her. Though because of his growth over the season(s) he also knew he could never live with himself if he left abagail alone again after getting her hopes up.Although there was a moment when he started to apologize to abagail so he could go run off with juliet. But then he made it into a joke because he knew he couldnt just ditch her even for his soulmate. The last scene also left the door wide open with the writers, because now they can bring the two together as most want or let them go their seperate ways and search for happiness that neither of them can truly have without the other.
Throughout the years they have spent together shawn and even juliet have grown to know about each other, find what makes the other happy, wants the other to be happy, and find themselves more and more compatible with every moment they spen together. That is why I believe that shawn and abigail shouldnt really be with one another because they arent meant for each other as jules and shawn are.
No matter what the writers have in store for this wannabe couple they definately arent going to have happen in one episode, but more along the lines of a season or mabye more.I truly want shawn and juliet to be togethe but when the time is right and the writers will know when that time is.

Totally agree. It really is amazing to see how much her character, well all of the characters for that matter, develop in the last season. I loved how they ended the season finale. It was perfect. At first, I was a little disappointed because I thought it was unrealistic that Shawn wouldn't choose Jules. But then I watched it again and gave it a little more thought and realized that I would have been upset if he did go with Jules because he would have left Abigail waiting again and he knows how much it upset her the first time he left her. That's not the Shawn we love.
And I feel bad for Shawn too. As much as it would have sucked to be Jules in that situation, it would have been 10 times harder to be Shawn. Look at it this way, the girl he's been after for like 3 years or so finally wants to go out with him, but he has to say no because he was on a date that he COULD NOT stand up. For all he knows, he could have blown his only chance with Juliet. So I totally respect him for his decision because it really shows how much he has matured. I can't wait to see what they have in store for these two next season.

For me, they shouldn't get Shawn and Jules together this Season 4. It's not that I don't want them to be together. It's just that it's too soon to do that. I mean it's just Season 4.
Like what James Roday said on an interview, "You just can’t put those two together too soon; otherwise you’ve played that card and then what do you do? You got to bring a kid on the show. [laughs]"
What James Roday said just says it all. It's what I wanted to say but he said it better.
He(James Roday) is currently in a relationship with "Psych" co-star Maggie Lawson and said the mixing of the personal and the professional has, in this case, "been a gift."
"For anyone in our industry, one of the toughest things about having a relationship is how much time you get to see each other. The fact that we see each other every day no matter what has really worked out nicely for us. She's such a great girl. She makes what I do so much easier and so much more enjoyable."
My reaction: Awwwwww

Juliet: Sorry, it's just little people make me... Well let's just say I had a bad experience with a Christmas elf. Gus: What, he didn't give you the right present? Juliet: No, we dated. And then he dumped me for a dancer from the Ice Storm on Ice. (Juliet walks away) Shawn: She is an enigma wrapped in a little blond riddle.
Lorraine: This is a speed dating first! You and you are a 100% match from your personality questionnaires. I smell love! Juliet: I need a drink. Shawn: I gotta pee.

I have to agree with those who say that Jule's will need to find out that Shawn is a fake psychic. As much as I would love to see them together I think Jule's will have to find out the truth as there can be no real relationship while there is this lie between them. It is kind of ironic if this happens as in the Pilot episde Shawn say's to Gus "The only way they can prove that I am a fake is if I tell them and I don't plan on telling them"
Also more episodes in season 3 had the Shawn and Jule's ship than any other season you knew from 6 feet under the sea that Jule's was really interested previously there were small bits but when April ask's Jule's about Shawn she is very uncomfortable. Then in Lassie did a bad bad thing Drimmer mentions to Shawn that Jule's is always talking about him.
I agree that both Shawn and Jule's have grown since they first met and season 4 of Psych may be more awkward as Shawn now know's of Jule's feelings hopefully they can get these two together I also would like to see Gus's reaction to Shawn in any relationship would he feel left out or would Shawn try to over include Gus that could wreck any relationship.

I think that Gus would understand and so would Jules so iy would be like a custody thing
Gus: Mon, Wed, Thurs,
Jules: Tues, Fri, Sat
and they share Sunday
Also they both see him @ work [mainly Gus] so I think it would compinsate for Shawn hanging with Jules. Gus would just be happy to see Shawn actually in a healthy relationship where he really likes the other person.

It would be funny if that happened and then Gus and Jules got in a fight about who get's him on what day, like Gus is hanging with him, but he forgets that it Jules' turn and she comes up all mad.

I see Shawn and Jules like Superman/Clark and Lois Lane. He's got a secret that if they got together, would come out. And it doesn't matter HOW it comes out, it'd be dramatic, and more to the point, she'd feel betrayed. The longer his lie continues, the worse it would be for Jules when she finds out. If HE tells her, it'd soften the blow, but he'd have to tell her before they got serious.
But he can't tell her, because if word got out, especially around the station, he's in for it. So he keeps it quiet. Her distancing herself from her feelings for him, diminishes his faith that she'll keep his secret.
It's just one of those things, where EVERYONE sees they're meant to be, but they're both too foolhardy or wary to jump in. And that's how it would have to be. With anyone else (especially for Shawn), even Abby, it'd be easy to hide. And Shawn likes easy. He may love Jules, as in really love her... but can he trust her enough to tell her?
That will take a while.
~And for the Shules being the end... it's true-ish. In any good series, there needs emotional tension, and sexual tension. I could name a dozen shows off the top of my head - okay, five, but since I don't watch much telly, that's saying something - that when the main pair hook up, it means death to the show. In keeping to the Superman theme: Lois and Clark: New Adventures of Superman. Great series, the tension lasted two seasons, one was them getting to be best friends, the second was them dating. Once Lois found out, things began a slow decline. Series three was pretty much ALL about their wedding, or attempting their wedding. Even though they were together, various things kept them apart. In season four, they were together, happily ever after. And that ended it. It's called "Happily Ever After" for a reason. Once they've found their destiny, there isn't much farther to go with it.
As much as it pains me to say it. If you want Psych to last, leave Shules a taunting promise, like that 'close talking'. A feeling that lingers, but never quite delivers. Until the end. At the end END of Psych, I want them hooked up. Maybe a 'mistake' as Jules would say, and a hook-up with a surprise. Or just Shawn proposing to her, and the last season leads up to their wedding.
But it WILL die after they get together. And I really don't want to see them flounder after that, losing its brilliance.
That doesn't mean to stop the fanfics, RolePlays, Fanart, or Fanvids. It's PERFECTLY FINE to have them together in those.

I've noticed that about your people, doctor. You find it easier to understand the death of one than the death of a million. You speak about the objective hardness of the Vulcan heart. Yet how little room there seems to be in yours. Suffer the death of thy neighbour, eh spock? Now you wouldn't wish that on us, would you? It might have rendered your history a bit less bloody.

Ooh Gus! Good news, shower for two.

Good morning, detectives! Collecting donations for the policeman's ball? We don't have balls. *Shawn stares blankly at him* I honestly have no response to that. Need I remind you, Mr. Spencer, what happens when you interfere with a police investigation? Uhh…the case gets solved?
