I was so disappointed that we didn't get a writer's commentary for this one because I felt there was so much that could be said, so I'm glad they fixed that! Granted, I'm not sure they really said a lot about the episode, per se...
Oh well, much fun was had by all anyway! I'm sure they'll be plenty talked about during the commentary on the DVDs. (Can't wait for those to come out!)

As a special gift to those of you who post here on the Psych message board, Steve Franks, James Roday and Andy Berman have recorded a podcast commentary about Psych's season finale, "An Evening with Mr. Yang". They've read your posts and are here with answers to the questions you've been asking!

I'm still wearing the smile on my face that I had during this entire podcast. I'm so happy that TPTB pay attention to the fans of Psych, and show their appreciation by giving us bon-bons like this.
I thought that listening to the podcast would make my wait for the Season Three DVDs more tolerable, but NO-o-o, now I want it sooner rather than later.

Yes, just reiterating what everyone has already said. Thank you guys so much for taking the time to record an awesome podcast for us. It's very much so appreciated. And thank you so much for mentioning myself and everyone else. You guys are amazing.
Oh and Andy for future reference, it's quite interesting when there is silence on the podcast

And Andy, if you are reading this (since obviously Steve and James don't)... can you reassure everyone that I am not a crazy stalker who knows all the in-jokes on the set? Winky Cutto was mentioned in the American Duos audio commentary... thus the screenname.
LOL, just in case it was so "in-joke" my knowledge of it was a bit freaky.
However, it does reiterate how much we love commentaries and that not only 8 people listen to them. So please continue with all the commentaries you all can make!

They didn't, did they?
The only question that was addressed, regarding Ben's well-being in Mary's pocket, wasn't even posed on this message board. I could not find it, anyway. I know that it was discussed on a different board, though. One wonders how many reams of posts they trolled through to make this podcast. Thanks for risking debilitating paper cuts to please the fans, guys. Those really sting. It's much appreciated.
sarcasmlove, as the leader designate, should you begin a topic to analyze what they were possibly trying to not tell us might happen in S4, specifically, the season premiere?
Another topic: Suggestions for Andy, since he stressed he only writes to the board's demands. The caveat is any suggestion should be nearly impossible to wedge into an existing storyline or must be distracting from a new one. I mean, otherwise, you're just doing his work for him. Example: A main character should have a splint on an appendage that can be seen or alluded to. It's like the pineapple, but with gauze. (This is also a joke. I'm not sure how many winky-face emoticons are allowed in a post.)
To all mentioned, congrats! Your diligent attention to posting has been rewarded. And sarcasmlove, your reviews have been officially sanctioned apparently. I acquiesce.

Alright, so I just read sarcasmlove's wrap up of the episode for the 2nd time because it was mentioned in the podcast. I can't believe how much you notice, it's really amazing. You are very talented. I hope you continue to do your wrap ups in season 4 because I love your perspective. Totally agree with everything you said!
SOOO GLAD that the writers appreciated the wrap up too.
THANKS AGAIN

It's Post #122 in the thread, bu ImperialX on the 7th page (assuming you have your board set to 20 posts per page): "What'd Mary do with the rat? If it was still in his pocket when he rolled in the train the thing would be squashed."
Good idea though... I'm re-reading it now too!

I can't get the search engine to spit out a post for the keywords 'Mary train' as it tosses the search request if you use a word that is 3 words or less, like, 'rat' (ARRRRRGH!).
I'm pretty sure that trying to check how my Posts per Page are set would cause me to burst into flames. I'll take your word for it.
I did scroll through all 19 pages (twice) but missed it. Probably when my eyes crossed after the jillionth 'reply directly to this post' re-post.

LOVED the podcast! Thanks so much for a very amusing and immensely enjoyable 25.03 minutes, James, Steve, and Andy! I hope you guys will continue to do more!
Oh, and Andy, I do think that the silences on the podcasts are interesting!
BTW, James, what is your display name (now that's you're on the board)?

Personally, I think it is great that they decide to do a podcast of this great episode a month after it aired! I wished I had a faster computer because it takes forever to download the podcast! I will have to wait to listen to it later when I have the time. In the meantime, I am happy that someone reads the board and answers all the burning questions we as fan have on this episode. I am also happy that sarcasmlove got the recogitition that she duly deserves. Got to go!

OMG!! Henry?? Really? Can you say Oedipus complex? I hope that you guys were just joking. And James from SAT? Very cool. My friend is an independent film director from SAT 13echofilms.com. Whole family is HUGE fans! We are even quoting this almost as much as Dane Cook! Maybe even more in the future since Dane has never jumped the shark before.
