Oh..I thought of more 80's and 90's songs:
"Poison" by Bell Biv Devoe
"I Want Her" by Keith Sweat"
And for a "slow song" how about Quincy Jones' "Secret Garden". It had Al B. Sure, James Ingram, Barry White (dang that voice..I miss him), and DeBarge. Mainly want to hear one of them try to do the Barry White part and the other do the high part....as in their words..no grown-a man can sing that high...but I like to hear them try...it's hilarious.
And if you want to go real old school like the 70's eppy..try "Fun, Fun, Fun" by Con Funk Shun. Right on, brutha!

I'm posting this on behalf of my cousin..she's a new Psych fan. Her first eppy was Tuesday the 17th and she's been hooked ever since.
My cousin wants Gus and Shawn to sing:
Michael Jackson's "PYT - Pretty Young Thing"
Johnny Kemp's "Just Got Paid"
Thanks!

And one of THE most over-played songs in the history of radio, "Tom's Diner" by (I think) Suzanne Vega.
Texasartchick
OMG okay i could TOTALLY picture the tom's diner one, like gus could do the little "do do do do do do do do" thing (although that might be too hard for Dulé, key-wise? but i bet maggie could do it.) and then james sings the lyrics, but in his like super high voice! or maybe like super monotone with the straightest face ever. i would laugh so hard!
and yeah I'm pretty much going to stand by my Shawn singing Hannah Montana idea. Like i could soooo see him singing it in his super high voice. lol. and gus like dancing to it and doing the "everybody makes mistakes..." part
and also.... shawn and gus singing duets in general make myy life. something with multiple parts like Gold Digger by Kanye West and Jamie Fox. With Dulé as Kanye doing the rap and James singing in the background.
But my favorite thing to see them sing would be Hey Ya! by outkast! i would cry with laughter ! especially if they did that whole "shake it like a polaroid picture" part.
and random - but anytime i hear Dare or Feel Good Inc by the Gorillaz, i think of James' high pitched voice...cuz they sing all high. haha that voice makes my life.
but basically, they can sing anything and i'm happy. im hoping that this topic was posted because we are going back to more singing psych outs in season 4, so YAY!

Official Beatboxer, Music Junkie & Jaggie Stalker for the CMP^2
Maggie: On a personal note, that sh!t was f*cked up!
Dulé: I had a telescope.
Kelly: What'd you look at?
Dulé: Stars.
Tim: You know, sometimes the writers just see it develop on set and then they stick it in there.
Maggie: Stick what in there?!?
James: That was a phone shaped rock.
Corbin: We hide a pineapple in every episode?
James: Get in there man. Get up in there!
Maggie: That's disgusting.
IF YOUR HEART RATE DROPS BELOW 150 , YOU WILL DIE!
Maggie: I threw myself at you!?!
James: ... getupinthere-ol?
Maggie: Yes please! High dosage!
Steve: Three of those children are dead.
Dulé: That's not funny, Mystery Man!
2 SECOND BLACK!
James: It's a bit like having 2 women at once.
Maggie: . . . Really.
Maggie: Well you know, he's older...and from Texas.
James: Are you high?
James: I literally pissed myself.
Maggie: Mmm, sounds like fun!

Ok, I just thought of this and had to post it:
either "Big Time" or "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel.
Texasartchick
Now I would LOVE to see them sing Peter Gabriel...nice.

For anyone that wants to hear Shawn & Gus singing in a really high voice, as well as sing a ridiculously inappropriate song for them, how about "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cindy Lauper?
Or we can get into the super-cheesy classics, such as:
"Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" by Culture Club
"True" by Spandau Ballet (sp?)
"Pseudio" by Genesis
"Mambo #5" (can't remember the artist)
"Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer
"Fantastic Voyage" by Coolio. Shawn and Gus could do a slide-slide-slippity-slide dance.
I'm sure Shawn and Gus could really ham-up "We Didn't Start The Fire" by Billy Joel, or "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics.
And Lassiter needs to sing either "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran, or THE cheeziest song in the history of man, "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred. That would be just plain silly. If he did "I'm Too Sexy" he'd have to wear his cop sunglasses for maximum effect.

Wow! Great choices! Mine are:
James and Dulé doing "Easy Lover" by Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey. James and Maggie doing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee. Tim doing "Killer Bee" by Queen. After seeing Mama Mia, the whole cast singing "Dancing Queen" or even James and Maggie sing "Take on Chance on Me."

Dang, I meant "Killer Queen" but I love to see them do "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Mr. Roboto" by Styx.
