The characters can't have it both ways. Be judged by character, yet subscribe to the politics of identity. This campaign is nothing more than liberal theological tripe.
huh?

True CI Fans support the Whole show Not Just Half the show.

You are GENIUS, and AWSOME, and you do bring me hope.

The basis for liberalism is open mindedness and being able to accept diversity with no preconceived attitudes. I am a proud liberal and try to view people for who they are not what a group of people tell me what to think . Am I always successful? No! But I do make the effort.
You are defining liberalism as it was 40 years ago. Congratulations. However, modern liberalism has been co-opted by multiculturalism, which is an anti-intellectual belief that you are your ethnicity. In direct contradiction to what you proclaimed, modern liberalism would maintain that ideas have merit based upon the race, ethnicity or other immutable characteristic of the person making an observation. Universities are great examples. They attract racially, ethnically, economically diverse groups and teach them all how to think alike. It isn't diversity, it's political orthodoxy.

You can't understand that he wrote, then you are unfortunately unable to comprehend the concept that the "Characters Unite" campaign is nothing more than a left wing platform of their idea of 'multi culturalism'. The commercials, including the most recent one where they have actors from their popular series make statements, basically reinforce the network's theory that 'ANYTHING that we don't agree with (Republicans, traditional marriage people, religious people, conservatives, etc. ) NEED not bother to apply, since the UNITE is just a tent for the LEFT. Ironic since the message of inclusiveness usually means embracing people of all convictions and opinions. Such is NOT the case with this annoying campaign. Yes, racism is bad, yes, bigotry is bad, but I find it hypocritical when so many of the network's shows go out of their way to insult the 'red state' half of the country on a regular basis.huh?

How ironic that NONE of these campaign spots have ANY character that is conservative, religious, traditional, Republican, Libertarian, or any other 'red state' persona one can think of. Liberals who don't insult or berate people with whom they disagree, are being true to the ORIGINAL ideas of liberalism. If you are one of those fair minded Liberals who don't constantly attack their ideological opponents, or accept that people of good conscience CAN have different opinions on what is right or appropriate.....,if you are one of THOSE liberals .... you are a hero .... and you are rare. The basis for liberalism is open mindedness and being able to accept diversity with no preconceived attitudes. I want to be perfectly clear here....I do not advocate violence in any way, shape or form. By intolerance I mean don't let them in our schools and Universities teaching our children. Don't let them hold office in our government. Don't let them in our military. And finally, never befriend any Muslim that doesn't denounce the Quran.
BTW, if you don't believe they're a threat to our children and our schools, I'd suggest watching this video: http://link.brightco...d=1271237687001
They've been indoctrinating our youth for years now.
One more thing, the Fort Hood shooting was NOT workplace violence...it was terrorism plain and simple.

Amen Jones 1967...you nailed it. This whole campaign is just more indoctrination from the progressive left.
