Makes me miss having a cat in the house even more, this is such a funny video.
The video is hysterical! Thanks for posting. Cats are quite mad, you know!

Thanks for this thread! I just had to share the love. Last year I thought it would be fun to make an old fashioned popcorn & cranberry chain for my Christmas tree. My cat, Sasha, thought so, too...
Sasha is beautiful!
Our kitty likes to "help" make the bed. She can't wait for me to put the clean sheets on. Before I can even get them straightened out, she's rolling all over them providing a nice new, evenly distributed layer of cat fur.

Sasha says thank you. And we both think your Kitty is gorgeous, too. And quite the watch-cat. Poor UPS dude What is it with cats and laundry? Mine's asleep under the freshly-done blankets at the moment but I managed to catch this before she went underneath

And here she is peeking out from under the covers to show her face
she is beautiful, my dog Shaggy loves popcorn, we eat it together, of course there isn't much he doesn't eat, except vegtables, he doesn't like vegtables.

Shaggy thinks he is my other husband, after I make the bed, he digs himself a spot on my hubby's side of the bed and get's comfortable actually using his head to turn back the covers, when hubby comes to bed, he looks at hubby like "You expect me to move?" lol

So cute! It's like they want a fresh palette to create their "fur art".
Kitty Girl is wandering by on patrol and says "thank you", too.

Now that's a riot!
I can appreciate how your husband feels. My husband usually turns in earlier than I do and every night I ask Kitty Girl to save me a spot...then I have to scoot her out of the way when I go bed. Where do these critters get such ideas?

A guinea pig was my very first pet when I moved out on my own, then I adopted a French Angora rabbit and then a Blanc de Hotot rabbit (all white with black Cleopatra eyeliner). I always loved how the piggy squeaked at me when I opened the frig (he wanted carrots!), and both bunnies were very sweet, well behaved indoor bunnies. They did chew on things, though. One ate all the tassels off of a wool rug, and the other liked to eat the baseboards.
I'd love to get another rabbit, but I don't think my cat would like it...or worse, she might like it too much. So, since we seem to have to be a one-pet household, we sponsor a leopard at The Wild Animal Sanctuary near Denver, CO. They were featured on Animal Planet in a story about Eddie, the leopard. I'm going to Denver on a business trip in a few weeks, so I'm excited to go visit "my" leopard!
Thanks for the link, LM!
My guinea pig did that too whenever I opened the fridge. She also did this thing where she would start digging in her cage sending wood chips flying everywhere. The funny thing was was that the cage was on a cabnet beside the couch in the living room, so whoever was sitting there had to watch out

What a wonderful topic......here's a pic of our late great dog Brittany, with #1 Son (it was taken in the summer of 2002):
Hubby got her at our local SPCA, when we were married for about 4-5 months and on Thursday it will be a year since she died at the ripe age of 13. She was a great dog, gentle with the boys and quite friendly. One habit she did have---she loved mint-scented or mint-flavored things. My mom has a raging case of rheumatoid arthritis, and applies Ben-Gay like some people apply body lotions...lol. Anyway, every time Brittany was around my mom, she'd start licking my mom's hands b/c of the Ben-Gay! She also liked to lick other dogs' ears, guess it was her way of greeting! We were told Brittany was a border collie/black lab mix, but with the way her back legs looked, I think she had some setter in her as well. And hubby had seen a dog at a customer's home a few years ago that could've been a twin for our dog---an Australian sheep dog. Whatever she was, Brittany was a great dog for us--I hope she's having fun chasing the butterflies on Avalon now!

She such a beautiful dog. Loved the story, I remember my grandma had a cocker spaniel named Murphy. One time near Xmas, her and my mom were making shortbread cookies (I was just a little thing then). Now they had about 2 pounds of butter on the kitchen table softening and they were extremely careful to push all the chairs in so the dogs couldn't get up. They left the room for a bit and when they came back, they found Murphy licking his mouth, the butter all gone and none of the chairs were disturbed.

What a lovely pup Brittany was! I bet she was smart, too, since that's a quality of both border collies and labs.

Oh, boy...I bet Murphy had quite a tummy ache after that. We had a beagle when I was growing up. One summer evening, I was helping my dad bring things in from the patio after grilling and I dropped almost a whole stick of butter on the ground. Fully believing in the 5-second rule, the beagle inhaled it and left nothing but a greasy smudge on the patio. That was one stinky hound dog the rest of the night!

Day #2 still waiting, seems it takes them awhile to go through the applications, we went and visit the kitten, Aimee is so anxious, and doesn't understand they want to make sure they get a good home. While we were there, they were argueing with a man who had left his dog home with no food and water for a few days. The helped her better understand why they are so careful. Also looked at other animals, saw some pitbulls that aren't adoptable and will be put to sleep, so sad.If I ever win the lottery, I want to build a non killing shelter for all animals. They all look like they know what will happen if they are not chosen and jump up and down when people walk in. I could never work there, I would have to take them all home.

Welcome Kitty Mina!!!! What a little cutie she is. And lucky too. Congrats on the newest addition to your family Jryan. Insurance people and contractors might be driving you nuts, but at the end of the day this little one is sure to put a smile on your face.

Oh, Jryan...what a little beauty Mina is! She looks similar to my kitty, but with short hair. I'm thrilled for you guys! So now Shaggy has to teach her the ropes...or will she teach him a kitty thing or two? . You know...she looks like she will be a big LOCI fan, too. She's got that "I want to investigate something" look in her eyes!

AS you can see in shaggy's pic, we still have no floors, he is adjusting to her, he follows her around like she is going to steal something, smelling her butt, lol. When she runs he chases her. When she is closed off in Aimee's room he waits at the door, but he seems to be excited. He wags his tail and doesn't bark at her, but seemed scared of him at first now she just ignores him.
