Hello
For all the newbies (myself included) here's some fun videos of Tony and gang filming on location that you may not have seen. I've put them in date order - the ones from 'Mr. Monk and his Greatest Fan' have been posted here before - but I've bumped this for all us newbies - and interested parties!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca4opZW5-II- filmed around June-08, Tony signing autographs, very animated, swigging from a bottle of water(?) and being very cute with a kid

Many thanks, goodbyegirl, haven't seen these before! Uh how I would like to live next door to the filming group! So much work for a 30 sec part, but they seem to be so relaxed! I can tell they are enjoying what they are doing!

Does this mean morality is not possible without a god? No. It means human beings can't seem to restrain themselves without a genuine belief in something more powerful than they are. I don't need religion to live decent, but if you need god, then go get god. I don't care which one you get. Whichever one works for you. Just pick one already.

I've gotta' admit, I stared pretty hard at that "water" bottle, but after a replay or two, I'm convinced it was water or some sort of soda.
Goodbyegirl, I always look forward to your posts because you have such interesting things to share. Thanks!
Awww, shucks
The one with the Rapper does make me laugh. Tony looks kind of lost and Snoop Dog just keeps twirling round. I know this is because I'm looking at it from the wrong angle and it didn't look as odd on broadcast... but I did need to watch the finished ep with subtitles because I couldn't understand the rapped summation!
I only watched it a few weeks back and Snoop's version of 'It's a Jungle out There' is STILL rattling around my head.

Thanks so much for finding these clips. I especially liked the one of Mr. Shalhoub interacting with the young fan and signing an autograph for him. Did you notice how he took time out of his busy day and took the time to pose for a photograph too. How genuinely affectionate he was off camera-even the police officer behind him is all smiles. He really goes the distance and appreciates all his fans, big and small, young and old. This clip even made me smile sitting here at home on my laptop. thanks.
