Still being somewhat of a newbie here, can someone please tell me from what episode that little picture above of VDO turning round in front of a little white house looking sort of like a postman is? I thought I'd seen them all but obviously I've missed some because I hadn't seen this shot. Thanks in advance!
It's from The Prisoner. He is handing out flyers so he can approach the house where the warden's wife Jenny is living without arousing the wrong kind of suspicion.

Without trying to be a pest, what season was "Prisoner" from? I'm trying to find out what I'm missing in my collection. Thanks again for any info!
Season 5 for sure.

Beard or no Beard for Bobby...
After much deliberation and spending just over 2 hours of INTENSE study of ALL pictures on this particular thread, I have finally made up my mind and come to the following conclusion:-

Beard or no Beard? ' I would love to see the gorgeous Mr. D'onofrio back in those lovely suits, with his curly hair, and either no beard or just the moustache and goatee, but in all cases, shave the neck. With any kind of facial hair I think we miss the little nuances of facial expression that used to make his communication to the audience so complete. And I, for one, would like to see that lovely mouth completely without the facial hair obscuring it.
By the way, does anyone have the picture of VDO and Carin at the Business for Peace Charity where he is wearing a suit and she is in, I think, a yellow dress? I don't know when that was taken but I think more recently than any of the pictures I have.
Also, many thanks to all who wrote to say sorry about my darling dog's death - it was very kind of you and I appreciate it.

so true. But the freezer is full of overheating VDO fans, and ice cream for my sore throat. We need to get another one!
You know, what we really need, tfm, is one of those acre-sized environmental test facilities that can be cycled from extreme heat to well below freezing to check out stresses on aircraft and such. I think we'd all fit, and they could drop the temperature incrementally to determine the optimal "VDO point" - the point at which the sum of the total heat produced by X-number of adoring VDO fans is neutralized to an acceptable non-fainting level. Sounds like some more interesting research to me!

How cold do you think it'd need to be to handle our heat? That would be some electric bill. But we'd enjoy the research

i think we need some volunteers for this genius idea. pioneering research indeed. hows about a show of hands <hand goes up> me! me! me!

i think we would have to get it so cold that we'd be communing with the polar bears. here's hoping that our research does not have any environmental impact..........
