Bobby be nice!
That's a great one, krod! I have a pair of ankle boots I bought not too long ago that are waterproof, as well as fashionable (they have a pointy toe, are embossed in a patent leather alligator print, and have about a 2" heel). I wore them to work and my officemate, a retired Army officer, looked at me and said, "Whoa...those are some serious ass kickin' shoes!" I loved that. Now I wear them all the time even if it isn't raining.

LBD, you can copy this! It's a great avator!
You are way-cool, krod!! You know, that is the "Titan missile" episode, which is what I currently use for my avatar. It's actually a Titan IV...the largest in the inventory.

COOL!! We were in Florida the year the space shuttle lifted off, it was the one after the Challenger blew up. Man, it was so neat, it was like complete silence until it was out of sight and nothing but cheering on the beach! I need to get those pic's out!
Mmmmmm . Freshly shaven looks like. I love the way my husband's face smells after he shaves. Clean and spicy.

Back to the freezer then eh??
My hubby likes to grow a full beard when he's off for 2-3 weeks (which is about 2 times a year) but its very scratchy and I have such sensitive skin that i get a rash! But, cause I love him I will smooch him and brave the pain! (p.s. I would do the same for Bobby, beard or no beard )

That must have been amazing, krod, to be there for the return to flight voyage! I can only imagine how the people there on the beach were holding a collective breath waiting for "throttle up". I'd love to see your pics if you can scan 'em in (no digital back then, I guess).
We've done two assignments at Cape Canaveral, and we were living there when Columbia didn't return home. We were standing in our driveway that morning waiting for the twin sonic booms that didn't come and new something was wrong...I'll always remember that.
Gee...I just veered way OT...sorry 'bout that. So, I wonder if VDO has ever gotten to see a launch, with or without beard? How was that?
