I absolutely adore the beard. It is very sexy to me....my husband grew one 20 years ago for me and has never lost it...despite his mom's dislike of it. I find facial hair to be wonderfully sensual and it's hard for me to keep my hands out of it. Hubby is very patient...like he doesn't enjoy the attention!

Personally, I loved his scruffy look in "semi-Detached," which someone else mentioned. Sort of a George Michael's shadow.
OK since someone mentioned George Michael. I thought that When Bobby was taking target practice in Purgatory, he had a George Michael kind of look with those safety goggles on.

Beard for Bobby no - too much grey/white in it, just makes him look old and tired now, but back in the day that late afternoon/early evening after a long hard day shadow/scruff in the older epis - that rocked I don't know just loved that.
Beard for Vincent - used to love it, but it ages him too much now, too much grey/white in it.

I'm not a fan of the full beard look for Bobby. I prefer VDO without excessive facial hair in any role and I really don't like the goatee thing.
Personally, I absolutely love the bone structure and expressiveness of VDO's face which is why I have captured hundreds of screencaps of it. Excessive facial hair obscures his beautiful bone structure and IMHO hinders the subtle nuances in his performance conveyed so adeptly through his eyes and facial expressions. My preferred look for Bobby and VDO is clean shaven or a bit scruffy, like in my favorite photo of Bobby.

Well, ladies, looks like that beard is back for next week. If Bobby doesn't like the razor I bought him for his birthday last summer, he should of just told me!

Eeee....I LOVE that one. You have a point, without the facial hair you can really see those subtle little movements and expressions. But he has so much character, that he expressed himself well with or without it. And when he tosses in those hand gestures and movements...I just wanna :::THUD:::
