Hi,
I'm soooo trying to go! I live in Toronto...bought tickets to the Film Festival in a generic format, so I'm hoping I can get one for The Narrows....IF my parents don't want the entire family to go away that weekend! The film people haven't even said what day it's playing yet....I'm praying for a weekday/weeknight (anything but Friday to Sunday)! Wish me luck!

Talk about The Narrows in VDO Movies so we don't go too off-topic! You're so lucky you might get to see it.
I'm so happy about Bobby's scruff back A lot of people don't like his beard, but I think he looks like a big fuzzy teddy bear with it...

He definetely needs to shave the beard in my opinion. It ages him beyond belief!

We all live in hiding. In one way or another, each of us conceals pieces of ourselves from the rest of the world. Some people hide because their lives depend on it. Others because they don't like being seen. And then there are those special cases, the ones who hide because... because... because they just want someone to care enough to look for them

Now that I've given it some thought I realize that when I see a man with scruff all over his face it seems like he doesn't care about his appearance. (I have vague recollections of my mother saying things like that when I was a kid.) A well trimmed beard or chin hangings are nice and he definitely has enough hair growth to pull one off. That's nice to see. My husband can't grow a beard for whatever the reason, so I don't have to kiss cookie dusters. I've never kissed a man with a beard. I wouldn't mind giving his a try though.

Here's something I noticed, watching a vid of LOCI: Mark Ford Brady had a beard before he died. Now Bobby's refusing to shave his beard. Do you think there's a connection?

I followed Bobby Goren for years; I will follow him out the door.

Nah, I don't think so...I think it's either because he's letting it grow for a change or to show the depressing state he's in like in Purgatory.
Vote Scruff for Bobby! (doesn't have to be like this, but at least some scruff.)
(Thanks to LOCInumber1fan for the picture.)

After last night's Vanished episode....without. WHile I love a man in a beard, I prefer Robert without one. My hubby's always had a mustache, but throughout the years he's had a full beard, a goatee, a soul patch....Hubby's a year older than VDO...so there's a lot of gr....blonde in there. I'm thinking I prefer the goatee or soul patch on both my guys....why hide their gorgeous faces with all that gr....er, blonde???

I agree! My hubby has a gotee, and once a beard, and it's quite sexy IMO. My husband is 2 years older than VDO and he suredoesn't look it at all! The salt and pepper look is extremely attractive to me. He can eat crackers in my bed anyday!

Nope, no beard for me. I can handle the "scruff" look, and really like that one with the goatee, but not the beard.....
Hubby came back from two weeks camping with a beard once. He wanted me to kiss him...not happy that I gave him a peck....made it all up to him after he shaved, tho....

Ya like my new headgear? I felt the Queen of the Universe should have a fabulous crown to match her title!

No. No beard, please! It's OK when the scruff takes over like in Untethered, or if he's in a depression because it's for a reason. But on a regular basis, no way. I'm hoping it's just part of the greater story arc for the season and eventually he'll get himself back together.

I agree, kissing a man on the cheek with a beard hurts becauuse it scrapes across your face I can settle for scruff, too, but for some reason when Bobby is without a beard, his lips just seem a little too rosy and puckerish that it doesn't look right. Scruff seems to balance his face well. Doesn't matter in all how Bobby looks like, but since we're on the subject. I don't know how much longer he'll have a beard, but it makes him look humble and teddy-bearish, and it balances with is big body. No one seems to like it so I can settle for just scruff.
