the only thing worst than ross and rodgers is ross and eames. first they would lose there job. second bobby would kill ross (hahaha). last eames is to smart for him. he was used easily in betrayed while eames and goren tried to solve the case. ross is a dummy.duh!!!

DIDO (even though I did start this thread.) I guess you're against R/R shipping too then by the sound of it. I think Ross's cute side makes up for his dumb, brainless side. That thought occured to me.

Ross winced at her tone as she delivered her report. There was no trace of emotion. The cool controlled Eames that he had loved was all that was left. It was no secret that Danny Ross had been fallen in love with Alex Eames the day he met her. Ross was smart. He could see the chemistry between Eames and Goren immediately. It didn't make it any less painful when after five years of watching them work together he was watching their wedding.
I think I have to start shipping them again, sorry!
And again, I have no clue why that's in there, but that's okay.

I guess my only hesistation with Ross/Eames would be the utter lack of plausibility on the show. In fanfics, the tendency is anything goes, but I would be surprised to the power of ten if the writers actually incorporated a D/A plot line. Though, I would die of shock if Mr. Wolf allowed any interdepartmental romance on LOCI.
I must, say I have read some short, sweet Ross/Eames stuff. But that goes for every LOCI pairing under the sun. Just depends what your taste is in ship/no ship. Personally: ship on!

I was watching Blind Spot just now and the scene where Bobby is telling Ross about the text message from "Sebastian", Ross begins giving orders to get everyone to Eames apartment. And he shouts out Eames address. How does he know it off the top of his head? He's new to the squad, but he has already memorized all of his detectives addresses? Or is there some reason he memorized Alex's address? Can't remember now if this has been brought up before, since I haven't been on this thread in so long. But I find it interesting. Maybe Ross turned to Rodgers after Eames rejected him?

And how about the episode (was it Amends) when Eames confides in Ross that Joe bought her a taser one year? And that sometimes you want to be more than just a cop.. Maybe she was hinting to Ross that she was interested in HIM and he shouldn't buy her anything 'work related' when they start dating.

OK, there are 2 reasons why Alex and Ross will never get together. The first reason requires visuals.

Alex is waaaaaaay out of Ross' league. As in, he's playing t-ball and she's the starting pitcher for the Yankees. I don't think she'd go for "Mike Brady-meets-Droopy Dog" even if she were wearing the world's biggest beer goggles.
Secondly, Ross and Rodgers are dating. So in Season 8, we had "Folie a Deux"--does that mean in Season 9 we'll have "Menage a Trois"? Yick yick yick!
