Well... I am planning a new operation with everyone' support...
Monday I will tell (if you agree) a new idea to get in touch with powerful and influent people ! I mean people from networks but also from news papers, shows, radios and every domain that could help us an pass the word !
Time has come to let the world know about USA Network betrayal... Networks must be advised that viewers won't accept anymore cancellations like this one ! ! !
It's just the beginning !

Be sure I won't lead a new revolution... I don't work with Mulder and Scully too.. Let me tell you the big lines of my project !
Most of our efforts focused on USA Network and exposure about how frustrating the 4400 cancellation is ! Most of us did a hard job, and I am very proud of all that has been already done !
I think our operations must touch a much more wide range of people ! Much more than 4400 fans or scifi fans ! So, I thought about using fans abilities (you will know in time) to create a kind of kit that will include : letter, petition (the biggest one), dvd and some seeds !
How can viewers spend hours, across many years, watching shows that could be cancelled without closure ? It will be the main question of the letter ! So any viewer could feel concerned and also networks that wants to keep their viewers trust !
This kit will be sent to "marked" people working in Networks, News Papers, Radios, etc...
We will just have to make a list of the most influent and powerful people in each domain ! Of course, our dear Bonnie Hammer will get her own copy of the kit !
We should also contact other fans which show has been cancelled to join our forces into one single operation !

Pablo, definately a most excellent idea! Really love how you want to add in the Marked storyline for the Nework executives. Very smart move (of course giving credit to the wonderful writers who developed that storyline).
And I completely agree, our movement has been doing great but it's time we pull out the big machinery and get the word out there in force. Jordan Collier himself started off small and then spread the news throughout the world. It's time we follow his example.

Just thinking. If we did this and did it as a mass mailing to every news center in america, it might get someones attention. The way I see it is if one news media outlet/station thinks the other has it first, they might get a little more eager to do the story ahead of them. You know the tv stations and newspapers, always trying to get the "scoop" over the other one. Send everyone the package and I would bet that one of them would pick it up fast. As I have been saying before, if you put it together for them, and help them with an angle, they would probably go for it. Any angle you go with this sounds good though. It will keep the motivation going in the right direction.

The theme of our new operation should be : 4400 brings color to your life ! Execs are not heart touched by the show. They just consider numbers that means money for them. They know people can live without their favorite show aired ! Cancellation of the 4400 has not killed anyone yet
Our answer is : Would you enjoy life seeing in black & white. Colors in life makes it much more beautiful ! So is The 4400 show for fans... Anyone should understand ! We will prepare kits to send to most powered and influent people in medias !
About the kit (it should include) : - a letter (at least 2 templates, 1 for executives and 1 for medias (journalists, TV shows, news papers, etc...) - a press kit including prints of web articles and the list of all contacted people by this operation. - a copy of the savethe4400.com petition (we will wait until 20 000 signatures or the most close possible) - a dvd including videos from fans and trailers - and... of course some seeds
I will collect letters templates, the petition, selected web articles and "fan made" video links... I will also prepare a video DVD that will be shared soon as an ISO file (any technical questions welcome) with all information to get it burned.
What we need : - message in the letter : We must ask why networks cancel shows without giving closure and respect to loyal viewers. The case of The 4400 is significative. It contributed USA Network to become cable network number one, the network canceled without giving a real reason (ratings seems to be not so bad with such a bad promo for last season) and no real closure to the story. More serious problem is the raction of the network to fans claiming a real end. Looks like thay are just laughing at our face ! All TV viewers can suffer of this... By the way, we should say that actors and writers supports the renewal too ! - selection of the best articles about our operations. - list of the "marked" : NBC execs, Paramount execs, USA Network execs (all exectutives who were involved in the production of the 4400). All other networks that could pick up the show. Most popular TV shows, most read news papers, most popular radio shows. The list should include any influent people/show related to movies, cinema and/or shows but also executives and journalists ! - list of people ready to send kits and who they will send to. - we need people to be in charge of each task.
So... Ready to go ?

I am both shocked and surprised all in one.
Shocked that this excellent show has been cancelled (i've signed the petition ) and surprised how dedicated you guys are to the show that you will go through all this trouble to get the show back on air. I'm not crticising you guys, i'm fully supporting you all, I'd love to help in anyway i can to get this show back on air and give us a proper ending to the series. As I'm from the uk we were a few weeks behind you in the series, but we all love it as much as everyone else does.

Whew. That's a lot of ideas to digest, Pablo!
I'm going to think about this as I do some homework and reading, then update my thread (it's getting silghtly outdated!). I think I'll remove some of the contact information of shows while we work on *concentrating* our efforts.
How long will that poll be up? Just curious. It's looking like there are two front runners: Ellen and Letterman, so maybe I'll just leave their info up.. neaten it all up, yadda yadda!

Pablo, this thing sounds huge! Sounds like we could use the military on this campaign. I'm not a logistics man but I'd like to add my 2 cents too it. How is the money going to be collected for this. It won't be cheap to do. And how many mailings are we talking about? I'd like to target local news outlets too, in my own area. I'll probably do it on my own. I'd like to add the different news articles that the various media sources produced for example the Media Life Magazine article. It was done very well.

For now, my answer will be : one step at time ! First we have to work on the kits "content" then we will choose the "marked people". After that each one will have the opportunity to send one or more kits according to his/her funds and location.
