I have been to a real live WWE Raw event. It was so cool. Me ,my dad, and my ex-boyfriend went to the live Raw event when it was in Buffalo, New York. I had a blast. My exes sister paid for mine and his ticket to get in, but my dad had to pay $60 for his. But they can get expensive depending on where you buy them from.

Well here I am bringing this back! I am so excited that RAW is coming back to PA in August at he Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre Searched for tickets, (with TMaster) and seemed to get pretty decent seats. I am taking my daughter and my little cousin. We are going to have a blast. Wish HHH & Jeff Hardy were still on RAW...but you never know, they may show up for some reason???!!! Anyone want a shout out from a sign??? We are looking to make a few... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh... I AM THERE!!! Did go through Ticketmaster, actually twice First with the pre-sale, got the best I could get, then again, once they came on sale to the public. Got better seats, and turned around and sold the others (for what I paid for them) to a friend. I finally figured out how all this ticket stuff works. Previously I was looking into 3rd party sellers. That must have been why people are trying to make a mint on selling them. Now what will really make my day/night is if HHH happens to show up on RAW that week. Anyone know why it starts at 7:30pm, but not broadcast until 9pm? Will I see more than what we watch? More matches?

Why waste good money on this fake stuff? Just wondering.
Because people enjoy "this fake stuff." Going to a wrestling venue is kind of like going to a concert. Its just a fun atmosphere. Big explosions, loud music. Plus your guaranteed to see someone get the crap knocked out of them. And i tell you, theres no faking the pain that some of the things wrestlers do.

This is a big deal for me. I am a newly revived wrestling fan, thanks to my children & younger cousins. I watched it back when my favorites were Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and The Ultimate Warrior. I am a stay at home mom of 2, and this is a night out for me! I would rather be around this "fake stuff", than be at a bar or somewhere else with "fake" people. Plus, taking my daughter and cousin with me, just to see THEIR expressions throughout it all will be priceless!

I've had friends who went to one... and they said if I do it to just be sure to pay the extra money to get the good seats, once your back a little the whole feel of the matches is lost.

Just wondering amongst all Raw fans, if anyone can share some insight on going to a live event. I really would love to go, with my daughter, who is almost 7 and also was asked if I went to bring along a cousin who is 9. I was looking in the Northeast area... mainly PA or NJ. I found the tickets that are selling ringside to be over $800.00 and up. I thought that would be the best place to be. But, I also heard because of taking my daughter, to watch for flying beer bottles and such. Are the events REALLY that much per ticket? and are they dangerous?
Thanks for any info shared in advance
Dear Shayster, Yes I have been to two shows. One wasn't televised and the other was RAW when Austin was with the Alliance, and they were all standing in the middle of the ring and Kurt Angle came out on that huge truck filled with milk and sprayed everone Austin, Debra, and many others who were in the Alliance, it was great and so cool It was in Sacramento,CA. I lived in Rosevill, CA. An hour away from Sacramento. Anyway it was really great. SilverCloud27!!

Well tonight is my night!! I cannot wait! The doors open at 6:30 pm! Wachovia Arena!! 15 mins from home! Found out ECW will be there from 7:30 to 9:00pm. They are taping that. Then from 9-11 is RAW! From watching the WWE website found out that there should be alot going on... on the Sci-Fi channel tonight. Had no clue how to hook up a VCR (yes, I still have one) to the digital cable box, to tape it. Hopefully I can get my mug on TV for a brief moment, with my daughter, & cousin. Both of them are pumped. My daughter is 7 and wants to see how big Batista really is. Hopefully the seats are decent! Actually, doesn't matter at this point, cuz we are there!!!

I took my daughter for her 7th birthday. GO GO GO! It is an amazing experience and she will LOVE it. Granted you will have some cursing but we didn't have any problem w/objects being thrown. My four year old went too and had a blast it was just too long and loud for her. We went back to Smackdown earlier this month and it was great but not as good as RAW. Definitely recommend going to anyone who is a true WWE fan. Its an experience you and your daughter will never forget. Tickets run from 70-20 bucks just depending on the seat. You can usually see really well from any seat in the house.

So, its been a couple days since you went. How was it? And to answer your question, i've never been to a Raw aired on TV, but i have been to house shows. 3 actually. And the one i just went to back in August was the greatest experience ever!

It was a pretty good time!!! I was excited when we pulled around the Arena, just to see all of the WWE trailers! We walked around and took pics of almost all of them. We had good seats. Every now & then, watching it on TV, you would catch a glympse of us in the upper right of the TV. I tried to wave to my son, who is 4, but he couldn't see mommy... ECW matches were good. We enjoyed D-Lo, Matt Hardy, and Finlay.I wore my camera battery out before RAW taking so many pictures. The kids were so dissapointed when thay found out Cena wasn't going to be there. But after RAW finally started, especially the pyro...they were back into it. WOW.... LOUD!!!! and Lillian sang the Star Spangled Banner. WHAT AN AWESOME VOICE!!! I had goosebumps! We enjoyed seeing CM Punk, Kelly Kelly vs. The Glamazon, WHAT THE HECK IS WITH SANTINO's EYEBROW???? LOL. Jillian, who thought she could sing better than Lillian, had to come out & sing us a song. (Can't remember WHAT it was), HBK's challenge, Jerry Lawler, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Cryme Tyme, EVERYTHING really. Mostly enjojed Batista!!! I had my Dad tape the show for my daughter, hoping to catch a shot of us, and to our surprise, we had a small close-up when he entered the ring. Look MA...I was on TV If they come back to the Arena, I am definately there. It was worth the money, the kids had a blast, which was why I went/took them. One con to me was/is, you do not hear the announcers talking the play by play. I really enjoy that, so I had to wait to watch the tape to hear it. Maybe I will post some pics, only if anyone is interested....
