Just wondering amongst all Raw fans, if anyone can share some insight on going to a live event. I really would love to go, with my daughter, who is almost 7 and also was asked if I went to bring along a cousin who is 9. I was looking in the Northeast area... mainly PA or NJ. I found the tickets that are selling ringside to be over $800.00 and up. I thought that would be the best place to be. But, I also heard because of taking my daughter, to watch for flying beer bottles and such. Are the events REALLY that much per ticket? and are they dangerous?
Thanks for any info shared in advance

I've never been to a live event, but I don't think that it's that expensive. I could see some seats reaching a couple or few hundred dollars, but 800 is a bit much IMO.
In terms of safety, it all depends on the night. For the most part, when you compare to other sporting events, wrestling fans are definitely rougher.

I thought that $800.00 was a high price too, but they are even higher than that!! Maybe because I am looking so far in advance (show is in May in NJ), maybe closer to the date they will go down...hopefully I was sooooooo upset I had missed it when it was in my area... 15 mins. away...(when Vince's limo got blown up). Maybe they'll be back...maybe not. Thanks again for the info.

Back in the Attitude Era. It was in St. Paul. It was fun. And its no more dangerous then going to a Rock N' Roll concert or going to a hockey game.

But are these prices greatly inflated or really what ringside seats go for? I know sometimes you gotta pay to play...
I've never heard of $800 ringside for RAW. Ever. That's beyond too much. I think over $100 sounds about right. Typical prices, no different than say a regular season baseball game.
Hell, WM tix scalped ain't $800 bones.
And as Slash says it's no different than a rock concert. Probably actually a bit more family-friendly, seeing how rock concert can get dicey. I went to a GN'R show a couple years ago, and there was drunks, drug usage, sex & fights, so not really the place for the 7-year old John Cena fan.

Yeah i went to a Motley Crue concert during the Carnival of Sin tour, and besides the actual stage being pretty dicey itself (it was really cool no doubt) the stuff that i happened to be around isn't something you want kids to be around. It was kind of funny though because some of the people were a little trashed. Anyways a RAW event won't be exactly like that though there could be people drinking (if they sell alcohol at the venues).

Thanks all for the information...I appreciate it. Slash...I AM SURE the Motley Crue concert ROCKED... and AXL...she is actually a Jeff Hardy fan...we rock out to his theme song...she takes after MOMMY But if she needed to pick Cena or Orton? it would be Cena...but now its A triple threat match with HHH and she likes him more than Cena. We also rock out to Motorhead No spitting water though
Again, thanks... and I will keep my eye on the tix and hope their prices will go down closer to the date.

Still watching the NJ tickets... still 800+... they even go up to $1338?????? What are they smoking??? I am a fan, but who can afford that times 3????? Not I. I did notice looking at closer dates, like AZ which is soon, ringside are around 125.00 which is WAY better. I guess April is too far away to purchase, or even look at now.

Sounds like she's dealing with a scalper.
I just checked Ticketmaster. IZOD Center / East Rutherford, NJ / 4-28-08 - it's a RAW show. The best available seat they have at this point is nosebleeds for $35 each. But even with that, the highest price ringside seat, was only $75 bucks. Just like me and you Slash, had said. About the price of a concert.
Tickets for dates past April, haven't even been announced yet, let alone went on sale.

I searched ticketsnow.com, cheappricedtickets.com, ticketsplus.com, stubhub.com and many more sites, including ticketmaster (which I cant seem to pick rinside seats from, like the other sites.) I don't understand myself why they are so much, that was why I asked for opinions and advice, and appreciate all replies

Be very very careful about purchasing tickets online. I know people try to beat the convience charge, but seriously, it's smart to only do business with legit companies like Ticketmaster. Truely the best way to get good seats at the best price, is usually to buy them at the venue B.O. itself. However I myself understand that alot of the time that's virtually impossible.
According to Ticketmaster, Ringside seats are already sold out for the upcoming RAW show in East Rutherford.
Sorry.

Is there a way to find out which of the sites I searched are ligitimate? They are all posting seats in Section 108, Row BB available. If I am going to go to this...I wanna be ringside. No nosebleeds for me, thank you...lol. How did you search for particular seats on Ticketmaster Axl? I wasn't able to do that. I just kept getting in a loop that searched for tickets, and never found anything close enough to my liking. I thought the closer the better...maybe I am wrong on this too. I want to be able to see well. Are seats in other areas actually better?? That is why I was asking to find someone who actually went to these events. Just looking for all the info I can get, before making a bad experience out of something I want to go to badly!!! I really wish they would come back to Wilkes-Barre, PA!!!!

No website is going to have seats for sale, that have already been sold. That's a quick sign. Ticketmaster says they are sold out, which means they are sold out. No going back. Point of no return.
When you go on Ticketmaster's website, and select 'Best Available', their search engine is designed to give you the best & closest seat possible. I went on TM's website and selected that, and it came up with some section 236 up in the nosebleeds.
That pretty much means any seats closer (ringside) are now sold out. Sorry.
Looks like if you want to go to a show, ringside, the April RAW show in East Rutherford this year ain't gonna be it.
