Hi Bubba here, he does seem "modelrately depressed". I think that CI should be good no matter what happen.

"moderately depressed" doesnt' win Emmy's and ratings. They know VDO has the depth...so I think its done by Thursday.
I agree, just enough to win an Emmy award. I really do not want him to go totally insane. I want him to be able to recover and do his job.
If the previews are misleading and are a letdown like in the past, I wil be pi**ed.

well, as I've said before in the other thread, he can't go totally insane because then there's the show. But it will be interesting to see if Eames and Ross really think he lost it when really it was the harsh conditions and torture that did it.

Maybe he will fake it for the undercover. Won't it be funny when Ross goes see him and he gives him a wink, like I am ok.
Jryan - you are a GENIUS!!
This is EXACTLY the line I need to give myself in order to get through the next few days (I will probably get to see the episode on Saturday if I am lucky).
In the past when he has been "undercover" Goren has proven himself to be a very good actor. As is Eames, actually. Perhaps the whole flabby, furry, frantic Goren thing is just him hamming it up?
**swigs antacid straight from bottle, thinks some more, eyes stack of tissue boxes teetering precariously in corner of living room**
Naaah. It just wouldn't be good telly, would it. I bet Vincent and the writers are going to leave Goren's mental state as ambiguous as possible - like the old hairspray advertisement "Is she? Isn't she?" - just to torture us all some more and keep us even MORE hooked than we are already.

As I ignore spoilers, I will be repeating my mantra for the next two days: He won't go mad, the previews always lie. He won't go mad, the previews always lie.
Sorry, I can't hear you--my fingers are in my ears as I repeat my mantra over and over.

WELCOME HOME, BOBBY AND ALEX!!!

Ya know, I was just thinking we need ANOTHER thread to put all our Untethered thoughts on, since we only have TWO threads already.

No matter how far Bobby falls, he will rise from the ashes like the phoenix. How long it will take I have no idea.

Previews always lie. It's even a rule (see games subforum - the Rules 1-79 is a fun thread
Bobby is strong - he'll bounce back, hopefully somewhat sooner rather than a lot later.
