Oh my... I'd start laughing hysterically if my hubby did that.
Hi Marciemom. Welcome! You know...I've been resisting getting an ipod, but you may have just given me a reason to put it on my Christmas list. LOCI on demand....what a great idea!
Just a word of advice. Ask for the 16gb. My 8gb only holds 8 episodes. My best friend got the 16 and it holds a whole season.
I have to say, I do appreciate the fact that my husband doesn't have a problem with my obsession. When my 19 year old daughter makes some comment about my being married so I shouldn't be looking, he just smiles. He isn't a big fan, but he will wait patiently for me to watch my episodes. He's away on business now, so its pretty sad--no hubby, no new episodes, just my trusty iPod.

Thanks for the tip! Glad you at least have your iPod during those hubby/Bobby dry spells!

i only have an 8gb, but its half full of music just now and i'm waiting for the rest of my music to be recovered from the old (now "retired" computer) and then it will be near full.
luckily, the new pc will be able to handle a few episodes and i've got my dvds too. i think i'll be fine with that.
p.s. we are not pathetic, we are merely "devoted" to our cause!!

The past few months have been very hectic for me. I sold my home of 27 years, put most of my "stuff" in storage and moved into a small apartment while searching for a new house, which I finally moved into in late November. Unfortunately the renovations weren't complete until this week. What a tangle, with a family wedding thrown into the mix. Now I'm frantically trying to get ready for Christmas. At 2:30AM this morning I was exhausted and stressed out so my sister-in-law persuaded me to give up and get some rest. She warned me to stay off the computer but then, because she knows me so well, laughed and said "Not likely you'll go to bed without saying good-night to Vincent." Yes, indeed!!! She knows me well. No matter how tired, I have to have my Vincent/Bobby fix for the day. Pathetic???

Just think of him as the one thing you can count on in a rapidly changing world. Vincent will always be HOT!

Absolutely, the more stress, the more we need our little 'fixes'. Having known a great many people with distructive addictions, I think ours is pretty healthy--I always sleep better after a Goren .episode. Takes us to a happy place.

couldn't agree more. I currently have the cold/flu/horrible throat infection (it can't make its mind up what it is yet) so having that happy place helps me feel a bit better!!

Nice to see we have another pathetic member of our happy little LOCI Land! You been up to the "To Ship or Not to Ship" thread in the "Shippers Only" subforum? Santa Bobby is up there and you can sit on his lap and tell him what you want for Christmas and get your picture taken. Oh, better take some mistletoe...Bobby just loves to kiss the ladies underneath the mistletoe!

Pathetic? No! good way to de-stress before you go to sleep.

Hope all you sickies out there get to feeling better real soon. I got a flu shot, as did many others here, and heard yesterday that someone I know is sick with it, and he got a shot. Fortunately, his case isn't too bad. I told his wife that the flu shot doesn't always keep you from getting it, but should make it not so bad or so long-lasting if you do get one.
Y'all drink plenty of liquids and I'll send Doc.Bobby by with some homemade chicken noodle soup. Part of his "treatment program" is to feed it to you himself.....Ahh, he's such a good doctor....

For the last month or so I have been DYING to dance a tango with Detective Robert Goren. To Viva la Vida by Coldplay.
Any other such weird ideas out there...or is it just me?
Its not just you. I have several songs on my iPod that envoke similar thoughts. Including Viva la Vida. Whew, I thought it was just me. I feel better. It is nice having active fantasies (can't dance at all in real life!)

Ladies...thank you so much for helping me NOT give up on myself...(I really thought it was time to call in the men with the white coats and the needle with the nice stuff... )

My greatest fantasy would be to do the horizontal boogie with Bobby. Music is optional.
Wowzer!

Check out the "Are We Pathetic" thread. You'll find company there.
Hmmm...you're right. Mods, Admin, I wont mind this thread being moved to the above-mentioned thread. I thank ye...
