I have been away from home with no internet access for the past two weeks. One night, in desperation to find out any news on LOCI Season 8 renewal, I actually sat in my car outside a community library with my laptop and pirated their signal to log into the "Reelblog" and this forum. (Is this normal behavior for a retiree???) I finally returned home at 11PM tonight and it is now 4:36AM local time and I am still reviewing posts on all my favorite threads here on the forum. I haven't even bothered to check through my mail yet. It's very obvious where my priorities lie. Talk about pathetic!!!

It was a very small community were the library closed at 5PM. I only stayed in the community overnight and didn't arrive there until much later in the evening. I just checked the "Season 8 Renewal" thread and 10:13PM was listed as the time of my May 23rd post. For some reason the time is never correct on my posts. Local time is actually one hour later, so I was parked outside the library at 11:13PM. The parking lot for the library is a considerable distance from the main road. It's a wonder I didn't get checked out by the local police!!!

Yep, been selling them on ebay for going on 6 years. I take a lot of special orders now though. Horses freak me out, color-wise, so I haven't done a lot of those. I can do dogs the best, I understand the fur growth patterns that you need for the shadowing and all. The photos really do not do them justice, they look so much better in person. As for AC, I can just opne a window...its 41 here right now! Only had a high of 59 today...and its almost June!!
What's your ebay userid, if you don't mind me asking, KimT? I'd love to see some of your doggs if you have some on there now. I have a sheltie and a ??-poo.

Sounds perfectly sane to me...I would have probably done the same thing! I was pretty pitiful when we were on our vacation this spring...a whole week with no VDO or LOCI...I was thrilled to come home and switch on the tv to USA LOCI reruns!!

Most of my ceramics are in my ebay store "Kim's Ceramics" (yeah, kinda easy and a bit silly, but hey...)...my seller name is kimceramic. I have other things listed now as well, it tends to draw people in who may not normally look at handmade items. I have several kidns of collies and shelties and am currently working on a couple cute shih tzu, cockapoo, lhasa...whatevers, lol. BOT NO! we are not pathetic...we are FANS!!!

I'm feeling in need of a meeting.
Hello, my name is Ciaddict and I am pathetic. Although I slept late yesterday and didn't have time for breakfast, I did have 10 minutes to come here and see what everyone had been up to while I was sleeping. And today is my day off, and my day for housecleaning, but instead of cleaning said house, I'm sitting here. I am WAY pathetic.

I hear you. Sad isn't it! I'm supposed to be mowing the lawn right now if is going to get done before it rains, but here I am. Last night I desperately needed a carton of milk for breakfast this morning. However, I knowingly stayed here on the forum until after midnight and all the local convenience stores were closed. I ended up at 1AM having to buy two single serving cartons from "Tim Hortons" (Canadian coffee/donut chain) at double the price. Pathetic!

I miss Tim Hortons, that was some good coffee. Had fight with hubby last night, and of course it was his fault, he gets free credits toward merchandise and has always told me they were mine to do with, what I wanted, so I was talking about some stuff I wanted from Sephoria, Ok I am a skin care and makeup addict, well he said, well at least that is better than the last thing you got, wasting 400 points on a floor moping Robot, I told him, if you had a problem with me getting something you should have said something, and I must admit, I have been ordering some things from qvc, oh well, I took real offense since he said those were my points to do with as I wanted. And this last weekend he paid $200 to buy a Holland bbq pit, used, when we had a brand new pit, well we bought it last year, but only used it once or twice for $300, but he said this is a Holland, they run $800 brand new, well you would expect it to have flashing lights and whistles or cast in gold. Well the thing is pretty plain to me, why is it worth $800? You can't even control the flame, no knobs. But when he bought it I said fine, well, I brought that up and went to bed mad, well he is the type to wake up the next day and act like nothing happen. So daughter and I went to the mall today, I got nails and pedicure we had lunch, and I bought the perfume I been wanting, since I got check for $300 from the hospital who did my surgery 2 yrs ago saying I over paid? Ok took two years to figure that out? Oh well Now I am getting to the pathetic part in a min. Well my daughter who heard the fight, said, Men are worthless, but I think she had trouble with the male friends she chats with, due to her looks, she said guys only like pretty girls and if your not pretty they won't talk to you, so we had a talk, and she said all men are bad, And I just wanted to say, "Bobby wouldn't be like that", He is different, but I tried to tell her there is someone out there for her, but not on the internet, and one day she will find him. Hopefully we will find a job thats perfect for her soon and get her out in the real world.

Sorry you went to bed mad, JRyan. And I hope your daughter believes you that there are good guys out there. Actually, when you aren't mad at him, your husband sounds like one of the good guys.
What you said about the barbeque was funny. One of my coworkers said her husband bought this big fancy tool chest a couple of years ago. It was $1200 full price and on sale for $800. He kept telling her what a great bargain it was. She has a picture of it, which she shows to people and says, "This is my husband's mistress."

yes he really is, and he just says something and it comes out wrong, I take it wrong, I drag it out, cause my feelings are hurt, and by tonight after he tells me how sorry he is, I will forgive him, we don't argue often. My daughter has low self esteem and I never dated in high school didn't meet my husband until after I graduated, felt I would never meet anyone, some times it takes us longer to find someone, told her I wish I would have waited until I got married and would have had more serious realationship than just one, Not to be in a hurry. I don't regret them, but my husband was my one and only serious relationship we met when I was 18 married at 19 been together 27 yrs, married 26. I was just luck it worked out, not that it was all roses and sunshine, marriage is a work in progress, the first 15 years were tuff, at least when the kids are young, thats why a lot of marriages based on pregnancy don't work, kids don't make a marriage, they put a strain on a marriage. And having a child with a disablity, really sometimes we disagree on that, but more or less its me handling that. But that's why I don't work. But my husband and I are friends, and we don't stay mad too long and we don't scream, like we did when we were younger, lol. We are adults now, and argue like calm mature people, lol. My husbands mistress is his boat, but I don't have any fish yet either. sigh.....
