Can we get the calendar in the gift shop? I, too, have a file for my VDO pics on my computer - he's on my desktop and you've seen my signature pic (thanks to Janx). I'm not pathetic - I am enthralled, obssessed, hooked, whatever you want to call it and I'm not at all apologetic about it.
I have the following folders in my Pictures on my PC: LOCI, LOCI season 7, LOCI rules, VDO, and VDO Subway. ;-))
I might be a little too obses--- er, focused.

I've had one or two (well, OK, three) of them, Spook. Not a Bobby Goren in the bunch! But they do come in handy when you need something off a high shelf!
Or if you need minor car repair work done (or major, if they're a mechanic . I was married for five years, and my (then) hubby was working on my car in our garage (in february). He was working on the fuel line and somehow some gas leaked out and then the pilot light on the water heater clicked on... and...
wait for it...
BOOM!
John was fine - he had gone around to the other side of the garage to get a rag to clean up the spill.
The insurance guy asked me what kind of car it HAD been. (It was a mustang.) I went back inside and saved my dogg, but only one of our two kitties made it. (They were hiding.)

awww, so sad, After hurricane Andrew our electricity went out, and they said our neighborhood would be out for a week, My mom had electricity so we( my husband, my two kids) moved in with my mom and dad. We thought it would only be a week, so we left our cat in the house with food and water and would check on her every day, mom said it would be too much to bring her over. Well I told my husband after you get off work, go by the house, they are saying on the news to be sure and turn off the curcit breakers to prevent power surges when they turn back power on. So he went to the house, I don't know what he did but he didn't turn it off like I asked, he came to my mom's house and he was sitting down eating supper and the phone rang, it was my father in law, He said the neighbors called your house is on fire, I laughed and said yeah right, he is a practial joker, I guess when my mother in law realised I wasn't believing him she got on the phone. My husband and I went to our house fireman and police were all around we had to park two blocks away, I got there, all I could say was my Cat. The fireman went back in the house and found her under our bed, she was scared to death, because of all the lights, It was at night, so they had these lights set up, she scratched the hell out of me across my chest, but I wouldnt let her go, got her to the car. Ended up at my mom's with the cat for another 6months while the damage was repaired, $40,000. I told the story how she died 5 yrs later, but that day she used up one of her lives.
PS. A neighbor said the husband was there earlier so they thought maybe he started the fire, but the fire was caused by the hurricane, the wind damage caused by the tornado that remove our carport cover had pulled out the main wire from the fuse box, thats what cause the fire. Fireman said luckly he didn't turn off the fuse box, cause if we had come home turned it on and gone to bed, we could have been trapped by the fire.

Wow, that's scary, Jryan! Are you still in that house? Are there areas like hall closets that still smell like smoke, even tho I know they spray them with special stuff under the new paint? I found it very hard to sleep in our house after the fire. We stayed with John's family for a couple months until our house was fixed, but it never "felt" the same to me.

No we have since moved, but it was miraculous, they had special crews that came in and nothing smelled like smoke, not even our clothes, The fire destroyed our kitchen and utility room the rest was water damage. The contractor who did the work had a special company who does just this thing, removing the smell come in and I mean you couldn't smell it. We stayed there, a few years but then the house was old and still needed lots of work, so we decided to just move, but we didn't feel anything bad toward the house, but I am sure if we had been there for the fire we would have felt different.

OK, we claim to be obsessed about LOCI, VDO/Goren, Ross, Eames/Erbe, etc, etc, etc......
Well, we're nothing but wimps compared to the die-hard super-obsessed Green Bay Packers fans who, right now, are sitting outside at Lambeau Field in 31*F SNOWY weather, wearing foam triangles of cheese on their heads and cheering loudly for their team........now, THAT'S dedication!
Uh oh, Seattle had a player injured on the opening kickoff......
Since hubby is from Mississippi and we're both in his age group: GO FAVRE! GO PACKERS!!!!!

Our insurance company used a firm like that, too, that specializes in smoke and water damage. Most everything was fine except my customized model horses (smoke made the paint crack) and there was always that ONE little hall closet that always smelled like smoke to me.

Now I have to go get ready to watch my boys.
Packers won! Packers won! Packers won! YAY!!!! YAY!!!! YAY!!!!! Hubby and I felt like we were watching the "Snow Bowl" lol. Started off rough, but turned into such a great game! Yippee!
I'm not either way on the NE Patriots/Jax Jaguars game that's on right now, but really want to see the Giants beat the Cowboys tomorrow! Packers have a better chance of beating the Giants, imo.

I think that CI fans might be the most pathetic group of people on the face of the earth. The hardcore SVUers might have us beaten, but not by much. (I'm a fan of SVU, also, but I can't get enough CI).
Any thoughts on this matter?
Nah. Good cop shows have a long and distinguished history in television. In my own lifetime I can go back to Hill Street Blues and I remember enjoying it. There's nothing wrong with being a fan.
On the other hand, if you've remodeled the den into an interrogation room and find yourself questioning the family dog then yes, you might have a problem.
