My name is flashymom and I had to come here today because I am so pathetic I watched last nights episode with my laptop on my lap, open and running, so I could post comments about the show as I was watching it.

Embarrassed... shoot, I'm jealous! And for the record: I watched the episode last night, sat through In Plain Sight and then proceeded to re-watched Lady's Man on my dvr. And I'll do it again tonight!

Should I hang my head too? I was right there with you FM - watching and typing AND getting ideas for a new fanfic story - never thought I'd warm up to Nichols, but I have a story brewing in my head for him as well. I adore him.

I'll be watching both episodes again when I get home from work today fdl. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Heck, I was upset with my son because LOCI Family Values was on USA yesterday morning at 10AM - he watched something else and I told him he made me miss LOCI - to which he turned on the dvr and played Family Values for me (I had it recorded!). So, yes I am pathetic. Even if I have an episode recorded, if it's ON TV I have to watch it to show my support.

I'm watching it again this evening....
Oh my gosh, I do that all the time (watching it on live tv when I already have it recorded, or on dvd). I never thought of it as "showing support" so much as pathetic obsession. What is it about it being "ON TV" (ads, pop-ups and all)????
And I wonder how many of us will be watching it again tonight

Showing support = pathetic obsession At least in my book. I'm so addicted to Vincent and his acting that I've watched The Cell for 4 nights straight on Starz. There's no such thing as too much of a good thing when it comes to Vincent D'Onofrio

4 nights in a row on a single channel? Wow. I've only seen The Cell twice on cable, and that was over a span of a few months. But I've seen Impostor more times then I can count. Yes I am pathetic!

I am pathetic.
For many reasons right now. . .
#1 I made my 4 siblings that I'm writing about into 'Sims' On my 'Sims' game. And they would not talk to each other, so I locked Mark and Abbi in a room together. And I took control of the other 'Sims' who were at work. And. .. Mark and Abbi kinda. . . *gulps* That's crazy isn't it? I swear I didn't make them do it #1 I wasn't controling them. and #2 I wasn't controling those two 'Sims' on my game. That's totally pathetic. (And a little crazy, but I didn't purposely do it. Hehe)
#2 My head was screaming Bobby and Alex shipping last night and yet I ended up dreaming about Bobby 'doing it' with somebody else. O.o It was weird.
#3 I've had this phone for only 2 monthes and it's already busted. I busted the charging part. It won't charge anymore. O.o

I love the show so, I´m pathetic (in a fantastic way).
Me too.
I'm also pathetic because I'm obsessed.
I'm a wee bit obsessed with my Harry Potter right now because the new movie comes out July 15th. I'm reading all the books over again before it comes out.

I must be extremely pathetic then. Lol I am obsessed too. The show is just too good. But I just can't seem to get enough. It doesn't help that I'm caught up in this recession and have plenty of time to feed this obsession while struggling to find a job

Patheticly obsessed? Pathetically obesessed is that:
A. I watch a LOT of L&O CI, but... B. I watched none yesterday, nor the day before. Because, C. I was helping my best friend/cousin who lives with me with her summer school report. I actually enjoy writing essays, and I picked the topic (Salem Witch Trials) and we spent two straight days with our heads immersed in the Trials so she would get an A and not flunk summer school. Seriously, we looked at our dinner on the second day and saw Tituba, and I had the name 'Abagail Paris' stuck in my head. Like, I was asked what I was doing next Friday and I though the name 'Abagail Paris' before the answer (absolutely nothing) came to my head. And, I spent 20 minutes checking our rye bread so to make sure it didn't contain the mold that may have caused the hysteria.... NEVERTHELESS D. Last night I had a dream where Goren, Eames and I had all recieved some chilling news from a 'bad guy' type, that would affect us all, we got to the elavator but were so weak we sank to the floor, and then Bobby (he was between both of us) turned to me and hugged me, and it was all safe and comforting and -swoon-.
So you see, I should have dreamed about the Salem Witch Trials. That was pretty much all I had thought about for two whole days but the oh so amazing Vincent D'Onofrio stuck in my head anyway....
and that, my friends, is pathetically obsessed...and proud.

No calories is always a good thing! Does it matter that I drive and think about VDO and LOCI? That counts as a bit pathetic, doesn't it?

lol! So true, so true! Unless you're watching an epi on your laptop while driving... that might impair a thing or two.....

Starz runs the same movies repeatedly - at least in my side of the United States. I have The Cell on DVD but again, refer to my earlier admission. If it's on TV I somehow feel the need to watch it so the powers that be know that there are people seeking and watching VDO movies/shows so that they air MOAR!

Yes, I am officially pathetic! I have lurked since Endgame aired! I just joined a few minutes ago and posted my "getting started w/ CI" story on the new members thread, in case you're interested. I am also pathetic b/c I just got back from my first trip to NYC ever, and looked for VDO the whole time I was walking w/ my family. I figured I couldn't miss a tall guy like that, but to no avail. While there, we took some of the bus tours around the city. So, I got all excited when we took a ride on the Staten Island Ferry (look! that's where Bobby picked up Alex in Faithfully!), when we walked in front of the former Virgin Megastore in Times Square where Bobby was looking for Donnie, and when the bus tour guide pointed out Chelsea Piers as being where L & O is filmed. I had to get my official CI t-shirt and L & O handcuffs keychain from the NBC Experience Store (I know Vincent and Kate were there signing autographs, several yrs ago, so when an employee started telling another employee that "Vincent" was coming in in a few minutes, I almost had a stroke! Of course, "Vincent" was just another worker, I guess). Today, while watching a re-run of Untethered, I got all excited when I saw the skylift at the beginning when the guy had the brick, b/c we were standing outside of Serendipity 3 watching the skylift, last week! I'm sure glad I started posting. This is going to be fun!

Welcome filigree!!! Your trip sounds great even if you didn't get to see VDO. We are a fun bunch here even if some of us are "pathetic". Hope you have fun on the forum.
I am very upset. I don't know if it is pathetic or not but----Today, my husband told me that some of Bobby's head tilts remind him of my younger brother. he has told me in the past that from certain angles he also resembles my "baby" brother. Now, I just got a an email from my niece and in it she mentioned that she watched LOCI and she thinks that Bobby looks like a combo of both my brothers! I obviously don't see it because I think Bobby is dreamy and my brothers are just my brothers. But I don't want them even planting the seed of an idea in my head because if could seriously interfere with my Bobby gazing and enjoyment.

I did the same thing last spring when I went to New York. I thought I saw him but then he disappeared into the crowd, and when I poked my friend in the ribs and asked if that was him, she told me that there was no way a tall guy like him could have blended into a group of field triping 8th graders...sad but true...

OK. Pathetic is when you just started watching LOCI a few months ago, and now you're so hooked, you will sometimes set your alarm to 3:55 AM to watch the 4 AM showing of whichever episode is playing on USA that morning. Note: I will not be watching Fico de Capo at 4 AM because my 1st 3 seasons of DVDs arrive tomorrow from Amazon (!!!!), but I will be up at 6 AM watching Scared Crazy.
Am changing my screen name to pathetic_ci_tigger.
Oh, and VDO is my new wallpaper at work. During a stressful day, he's easy on the eyes.

Have you checked out the "is vincent hot?" thread and seen all those naked and nearly naked pics of him from movies he's done? (Naked but covered, I should clarify.)

Yeah, also pretty pathetic that we passed by a lady walking w/ her young son and pushing a stroller near the beginning of Central Park, while on the tour. I caught sight of the boy as I passed and thought he was a pretty cute kid and maybe was Elias, but it was too late to turn around and see if the lady was Carin. Yep, just imagining things, again. No, I did not turn around and chase them down, but I just kept wondering. Pathetic.
