I think that CI fans might be the most pathetic group of people on the face of the earth. The hardcore SVUers might have us beaten, but not by much. (I'm a fan of SVU, also, but I can't get enough CI).

Any thoughts on this matter?
All I have to say is, I am damn glad to be a Criminal Intent fan.

I agree with Bubba

(After they find out he's really a girl.) Brandon: Boy I really f***ed up. I borrowed one of Candace's checks. Then I got that speeding ticket, and now it's all in the papers. I just need to learn to stay home, huh? Lana's Mom: I invited you into my home and you EXPOSED my daughter to your sickness! Did you ever think about Lana in all this? Brandon: Yes, ma. She's all I think about./Boy's Don't Cry
Question: Now how do you feel about Mariska? Dish. Chris: I love her immeasurably. The limited time I have here would never give my feelings justice.

In the Bobby ? game, I mentioned that I was pathetic....Here I am a happily married, 50 year old woman going completely gagootz over a fictional character.....and the man who portrays him.... But, as a Toby Keith fan, I am much more pathetic because I travel all over the country to see him many times a year....All this fan club/chat room stuff started when I turned 45, so I suppose I can say Robert O. Goren and Toby Keith Covel are my mid-life crises!!!

So my spanish teacher mentiond Salvador Dhali this morning. And I thought about sharing that one of his paintings is hanging at Rikers Island. I decided not to, as I would probably be the only person to understand this reference.

I love it! We used to play a game on The West Wing board....The thread was comprised of TWW references we used throughout the day...and how the person responded.
Maybe we should play that game here!

I don't think it's pathetic. Everyone has something they love. There are people who can spend hours a day talking about their favorite sports team and they're not considered pathetic at all. Now perhaps it's my dim view of pro-sports talking here, but I think being fans of a show that doesn't pander to the lowest common denomator shows that we're WAY less pathetic than those people.
We're all civil, nice and open minded people here. When we become insular, backbiting, and rigid is when we can be called pathetic. Until then, it's nice to share our interests and loves with each other.

ha, i might have agreed if Civil wasn't there, i've been known for being uncivil. Maybe a better word for pathetic is...obsessed? Takes away the negatives for the most part.

That was mention in the epi. Art. But found this info
Robert Goren: Did you know that there's an original Salvador Dali hanging at Rikers Island? He donated it in the '60s.
This painting was donated by Salvador Dali in 1965. In 2003 it was stolen by a group of prison officers, and later destroyed in a panic by the former superintendent who masterminded the theft
