My best guess is that S5 DVD will come out in June 2012, as all the past seasons 1-4 have always had release dates in June. It's a bummer to wait! Sometimes USA will have a BN Marathon on before new seasons start - you can check the BN Schedule thread pinned at the top of the forum for those & other airings.

I watched episode 5 of season 5 last night. Amazing stuff!! Burn Notice is the best TV show I have seen in my many years of viewing. Just when you think you are stuck watching cop shows and hospital dramas etc, Matt Nix creates a show that is totally unmissable. I would rather watch Burn Notice than do just about anything else. {thinks to self "need a life much?"} That's just part of the Burn Notice addiction I guess! But I'm not complaining. It's great to be able to share thoughts with other like minded Burn Notice devotees. This Forum is a fantastic place for information, conversation, laughter and the JD-Aholics forum...one of my very favorites. Jeffrey Donovan is a consummate actor, skilled, intelligent, funny and of course, extremely attractive.
Am looking forward to to spending even more time browsing the Forums, if that's possible...lol.

I am new to this board but have been watching BN since the very first season! I love the characters, the location and the plots!

I have watched JD on just about every show he's done. Love Fiona, she's a tough cookie, love her attitude and the way she walks in her high heeled shoes with a shotgun, gotta love a woman like that! Sam, what a character, love his tropical shirts. Jessie, lets just say "mmmmm, mmmmm, good!'

BN is addictive! I DVR the marathon every Thursday when the show is in hiatus, and even the 2 episodes they air on Wednesday. Can't get enough of the show, that's my "mommy time" to live dangerously! LOL! I can't wait till the show returns in the fall, I will be glued to my TV to get my BN fix.

Bonjour Everybody !

I am French and fan of "Burn Notice" and believe in me it's not easy because here the series is not a success..
Why ? Because the series is broadcasted on a small channel of the cable, because the French voices sucks and especially that the translation is really really bad (we do not use subtitles).And DVD are not better
We have the season 1 - 3 and we don't know when we shall have the season 4 then 5.. Fortunately I was able to see the seasons 4 and 5 on the Internet (not easy).

I am very happy to join this forum to be able to share and hold me informed of last news..I feel less alone

My english is not very good and I use a lot internet for the translation beforehand I apologize for faults which I am going to make..

hello, been a fan of the show for a fairly short period of time compared with some others, always enjoyed watching BN when it was being shown on tv, but just recently went back and watched every single episode from the pilot to the latest episode, and am hooked. I love the character development and interplay, as well as the fact the bad guys sooner or later, get what's coming to them.

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't been on in a while, but I wanted to stop by and say hi. I've been prepping for my graduation these past few months, working, and finishing my certification (not what I'm graduating for, I'm graduating for my Bachelor's Degree). However, I haven't stopped watching BN....I have 3 of the 4 DVDs and have been watching episodes on ION TV every week after class! Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know that I didn't forget about you!

Just like to say hi and tell you I am a big burn notice fan. Wasnt at first, hubby wanted me to watch the pilot episode and kept bugging me to watch it when it first aired. So i caved in. Watched it didnt think much of it, guess wasn't in the mood.. So a few months ago I gave it another chance as It had 5 seasons.. Long story short I think the series is awesome. Just finished watching Season 5 on Sunday night, i think i watched about 10 episodes on saturday night alone. I so have a crush on Jeffrey Donovan and love the couple pairing of Mike and Fi. Never thought I would love a series ever since Prison Break ended. I thought the ending of season 5 was heartbreaking. So now that i am caught up now its waiting to watch the new episodes now. Maybe I should have waited till the series ended and watched it. Coz the cliffhangers would have got me saying noooooooo a lot. lol Anyways I am off to explore the burn notice forum.

Hi all! My screen name is WritePassion, and I'm a BNaholic!

My husband and I started watching BN two years (or is it three???) ago when Ch 24 in Milwaukee started showing the reruns. We caught the first Wednesday night, back to back 2 episodes, just flipping around the channels. Hubby had the remote and almost passed it by, but I told him to wait. I heard this was a good show. So we came in just before Michael was burned, and by the time the first commercial came on, we looked at each other and said, "We're watching the rest of the episode." Imagine our joy when another episode came on afterwards, and by the end of it, we were hoping for more. It was not meant to be. "Frasier" came on afterwards. Ack! But we were determined to hold out until the next week, when we could see two more episodes.

We were half way through the second season on Ch 24 when we bought Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD. We devoured them 3-4 episodes at a time. Then Season 3 came out, and we bought it right away. Not having cable has been killing us the last couple of seasons, and having to wait to get the DVD has been agonizing. Don't even talk to me about the way they showed the episodes on the USA web site through season 5. Horrible! Torturous! SO mean!!! I'm thinking that maybe we should move under a rock until Season 6 is over so we won't have to worry about what we missed until the Season 6 DVD comes out. Oh, and right now I'm unemployed, so it's very likely we'll be able to get the Season 5 DVDs unless I win one. :-(
