I'm curious, do I need to include a photo to be autographed? I don't have one. Or just include the SASE, and the photos are sent free?
Im pretty sure that you dont have to include a photo. If you have a specific one that you want autographed, then you send that one but if there is not photo included, I think they have photos they autograph and send back to you.
A quick question...can we still send letters and autograph requests to James, or Dulé or the rest of the cask now that the season has ended, or do we have to wait until the new season starts? Thanks in advance!

As far as I know you can send your autograph requests at any time, regardless of the broadcast schedule.

Hi. Sorry to crash the discussion, but I saw all the questions about autographs and I just wanted to post a link to an ebay auction for a cool PSYCH poster signed by both James Roday & Dulé Hill:
The auction is for a non-profit school in L.A. and all proceeds (100%) go to the school. There are also some other interesting "Hollywood" items (such as a personalized autographed script of Nacho Libre by its director Jared Hess of Napoleon Dynamite fame).

I'd love to see James Roday in a much more serious role.... or even more serious episodes of psych. I want to write him and like talk to him as if he were someone i actually know, but then I'm thinking thats retarded. I'm not a 12 year old little girl, I'm not a creepy stalker, so I mean what would I have to say?
any ideas. lol
side note: I dont think any of you are creepy stalkers. But then, I dont really know any of you....

I have this same problem with anyone I have considered writing to (and there's only two). I write a very conversational letter, because that's what I do, and then end up not sending it because it sounds psycho. I can't imagine celebrities enjoy getting a bunch of letters that say "OMG, I love you, will you marry me? OMG!" (but with bad spelling and excessive punctuation), but you never know. I like to think they would like to receive a decent, well written letter by someone who just would like to get to know them better. Then I think about that and it sounds creepy and stalkerish, even to me.

Usually when writing to a celebrity you just go on about how much you enjoyed them in (enter TV show or movie here). And request for an autograph. Some times they ask for you to include something for them to sign and a SASE.

I think the problem Flower and I have is not that we don't know what to write, but that we want something different than the average fan. I have no desire to tell the celebrities I like how much I love them or their work (though obviously I do). I want to know what they think, I want to sit down and have a conversation with them, learn a little more about the person who brings such amazing characters to life. And the problem with that is that it's kind of creepy, even though that's not what we intend.
At least, that's my take on it (and please forgive me for making assumptions on your part, Flower).

Great News! I just received an email from James Roday's manager's assistant (I included my email in the letter, just in case... and it came in handy!) saying that I'm getting an autographed photo with a response to my letter on it! I did not intend to get an autograph at first but I got the email saying they needed my address so they could send it out to me and now I'm ecstatic! They're sending it out tomorrow! Done reading this? Ok! Now have a good week!!!(yes, I'm talking to whoever is reading this, I'm very open right now... it's a Logos thing)

That's the same way I feel. I just want to sit down and talk with them, not just go all nuts about how good looking they are and what not. One would think celebrities would understand that, and to my knowlegde there are individuals like that but then again there are certain celebrities that probably find that just a little stalkerish. All I know is that my intentions are good and not creepy although they may appear that way.
