Yes...a little positive reinforcement goes a long way, doesn't it? Glad you had a great day!
I know I've sad it before but my hubby is so great. I had to stay home this weekend and it was literally eating me up. I got some sewing done and a few other things that I needed to do. Then we were talking about next weekend's plans. He gives me the little grin. "I've got the kids under control, you have a good time in New York" Isn't he absolutely the best?

He's TIED for "the best", MM. My BFF had been needing to get away from her crazy life and spend some time with me helping her sort out a nasty bg problem and to figure out what she really wants in a man and what her current priorities are. Well, I talked to hubby way back in November and he said it would be okay with him if she came over, and why don't we go spend the night in the fancy schmancy high-end casino that's just 2 miles from our house? So, she came last month for the night, and my hubby said basically the same thing yours did -- "I've got the kids under control. Have fun!" *sigh* God is so good...sending us such wonderful keeper hubbies.

Okay, I'll accept the tie. I feel bad for women who don't have men who are good for them. When both are interested in making each other happy things are great. My father in law was just like my hubby. In fact, so was my grandfather-in-law. There must be something with the men in his family. Most of the ones I know in his family are great men. Makes me pretty confident my sons will make me proud of them.

Hi, I'm LadyBlueDevil, and I'm pathetic.
Last night I logged onto my e-mail and my officemate, who is on travel, sent me an IM to tell me that "Edgar" was on. He knows I'm a huge fan, and wouldn't want to miss "Men In Black". I just love VDO as the bug!

What gets me, each time, she begs and begs saying she changed and wants another chance. Wonder who she will show up as next. I only responded to her on Triva when she answered a question, I wasn't getting involved with her again. Had been there and done that.

This moark does not deserve your time our attention. She is a child who has learned if she does something wrong she gets more attention than when she behaves. Ignoring her completely would be more effective than a million words. Now back to Bobby!!!!!!!!On my way to work this morning it just out of the blue popped into my head a few things I would like to do to him [or with him] I got more flushed than any hotflash I ever had and if I wasn't knee deep in traffic I would have taken advantage of some of these hugh snowbanks we have we have to cool off a little!!! Talk about Global warming!!!!!!!

This happens to me quite often, heck, that was the reason I started posting on this forum, I figured others would understand. But, I had to stop logging on during breaks at work cause then I couldn't get Bobby out of my head and get back to work. Our detective is highly addictive, there should be a disclaimer on the previews: "viewing Bobby episodes could cause serious daydreaming, flushing of the cheeks, and other symptoms that can't be discussed in mixed company".

Ah...the price we must pay for our devotion!!
Yes, it is. But, I'm willing to suffer all those symptoms for the pleasure of that devotion. I even ran home at lunch today to record the two episodes on USA. I am a little dvr challenged and can't get mine to record--since hubby is in Canada I couldn't ask him to do it for me. You know I'm missing him dreadfully at this point, and not cause I can't work the dvr! A little OT here, poor guy had to fly out from New Jersey while we were waiting for the snow storm to hit. They forgot to put his luggage on the plane so he got to Toronto at 10 in the evening with no luggage. That was Sunday night. They didn't find his luggage and get it to him until Tuesday. He didn't have any time to shop for new clothes--he was expected at the client site at 8 in the morning Monday. He was so frustrated wanting to get clean clothes. But, this trip has turned out better for him than the one to Idaho in December--the client isn't screaming and threatening him like the folks at Boise airport did. He expects to be all finished on Thursday so he can relax getting to the airport Friday afternoon. Then Saturday is supposed to be sunny and warm.
I haven't said much about moark, but she creeped me out from the beginning so I stopped replying to her posts. I feel like I've found a lot of great people on this forum and she just wasn't fitting. My boys are on other forums--mostly Star Trek stuff--its a genetic obsession from their dad--My son, Nick, tells me every forum gets their "blackstar". I guess that is one person they all avoid. I like this forum, it took me awhile to sign up cause I wanted to make sure it was a fun and friendly place.

Oh, your poor hubbie...losing luggage is such a pain! Then to have to go to work the next day in your day-before-airplane-clothes...ick! I hope the rest of his trip goes well, and he gets home safely to you for a good weekend! It's supposed to be nice here in D.C. this weekend, as well...in the 60's. Yay!!! I really want to put all my wool away and bring out the cotton!

He's home now, safe and sound, but not before I got lost trying to get to the airport. If anyone has experience driving in New Jersey you know that you might be fine on the highway, but once you get off the main road and you need to get back to the highway, the signs are few and far between and they hide them. SO, I pulled off the road only to discover the VZ Navigator on my cell phone wouldn't work because they didn't activate something when they had to replace my phone. It was getting dark and I knew his plane was landing and I was getting ready to panic--all I knew was I wasn't where I was supposed to be. So, I called my son and had him get on the computer. I gave him some landmarks he could look up and figure out where I was and then direct me back to the interstate. He did a great job, my hubby was waiting right outside, he had just picked up his luggage. At least this time they remembered to put it on the plane! I was very happy to see him. We both agree we hate the separations for work, but we love the homecomings. Just 24 days until we leave for Puerto Rico! 8 days without children and work to interfere.

I was pathetic. I accidently wrote Abbi instead of Alex on the B.A shipper thread. Only god knows why that's so bad.

I admit I'm very pathetic, but so is almost everybody.
My name's not sybil. It's Serena. (Well you already know who I am don't you?)
Now call me that.
