Do You Think Chris Is Hot?

Oh my god... my friend was in New York City a few days ago and she was on the subway. Anyway... Chris Noth just runs into the train like it's nothing. He had been jogging and decided to take the subway back to where ever he lives in New York! I was like freaking out when she told me... she was like "I've never heard of him but my brother was like, 'Hey... Isnt that the guy from the Perfect Man?'" She was standing about 2 people away from him for 10minutes. Not fair... I wish I was there.

New (and Returning) Members Welcome Wagon

Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: Criminal Intent chronicles the life and crimes of the elite Major Case Squad of the New York City Police Department.

Law & Order: CI begins from the point of view of one of the major participants in the crime: the criminal, a witness, or even the victim. By integrating a unique psychological component, the police procedural mysteries allow viewers to get an up-close and personal look at the criminal justice system.

The Major Case Squad includes Detective Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio), an exceptionally bright homicide investigator with well-honed instincts that match up favorably with his criminal quarry, and his partner, Detective Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe), who brings an independence and stylish edge to her work that meshes well with Goren's work ethic. Overseeing the Major Case Squad is Captain James Deakins (Jamey Sheridan), a competent and ambitious political animal who knows how to survive and thrive behind the scenes. And the entire squad often butts heads with Assistant District Attorney Ron Carver (Courtney B. Vance), a straightforward lawyer who is a stickler for the crucial legal details.

Use this board to discuss anything and everything about L&O: CI!

Campaign To Save The Real LOCI!

I've been dropping in other fan sites all day and I just saw this posted in Criminal Intent-US. I think this poster (annabellelleigh) is considered some kind of insider. Here's the cut & paste.

I think this is definitely worth a try. I'm going to buy a whole lot of postcards and stamps tomorrow.

WHO here isn't ready to give up???!!!

Ms. S

Though the Nielsen ratings will be the true test, I say that those who want to send a message to key NBCU executives should do so. In fact I urge you to write, for yourselves as well as the actors. If enough people (and that is, thousands) take immediate action I don't think the effort will be wasted.

Bonnie Hammer
President
NBCU Cable Entertainment and Universal Cable Productions

Snail mail address:
3000 West Alameda Avenue
Burbank, CA 91523-0002

I suggest a short, well-composed postcard (or multiple postcards) rather than letters. Clearly state your displeasure with the decision to dump Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe and your request that the decision be reversed. Three good, focused sentences will more likely be taken seriously than a lot of scribble. Try to stay polite. Don't make threats; don't say anything bad about Jeff Goldblum. Definitely spell and grammar check before sending; and write legibly (or use a printer).

A huge pile of postcards is likely to have more impact than e-mail but you can also try:

bonnie.hammer@nbcuni.com

You might also send the same message to her immediate USA subordinate Jeff Gaspin, same snail mail address, and jeff.gaspin@nbcuni.com.

And don't delay. Do it on Monday if not today. Also, if you post on other CI or VDO boards, you would do well to pass this information on ASAP. If Vincent D'Onofrio really has as many steadfast fans as everyone here thinks, a strong, grassroots effort should be fairly easy to mobilize.

AL
